Looking forward to it personally. Should be a nice match-up.

Personally I am just glad the Patriots arent there. Then we would have had to listen to how great B&B are for two straight weeks, blah!.

I agree Taz, IMO this is a great match-up. 2 teams that are not staples in the Super Bowl. Bears are a good story, doing it on defense and a hot and cold QB that everyone has doubted al year. Indy is also intriguing, one of the greatest players o our generation on the doorstep of his first championship!!!

Not sure who else you wanted to see, but IMO, this is as good of a match-up as any not including the Bengals

im sure enough people will watch without you. me, im probably renting a winnebego and headin to miami. kemptons been against the bears all through the playoffs - go ahead, do it up again, it's worked so far. the dude abides. i donrt understand texans tickets but if you got tickets daaaaaayyyum. i had onea my drivers tellin me alll week how they would never let one, let alone two black coaches in the superbowl, and all this bullshit on how the dome was built on credit and they need to make money for it. sorry curtis this aint apartheid - for whatever reason i had to convince people all year the bears were at least the best team in the nfc, and if you dont know, now you know. we just need one game, and peyton didnt impress me against a comparable afc team last week (ravens). bears.

I actually like this setup a lot. Manning finally makes it to the Super Bowl, but faces one hell of a defense.

Can the Bears win in spite of having a bad QB? It's certainly possible, but defies conventional wisdom. I'll be happy with either outcome.

I'm also happy that the Yankees didn't make it again.

manning would have faced an amazing defense if this was still october. the defense he will face instead this sunday will be the softest defense he's faced in the entire playoffs. he's going to *carve* them up.

I won tickets, airfare and hotel from the Texans. They are supposed to get me the tickets this week. I asked for a bunch of Texans pins so that I can be neighborly and give them away when I'm there.

I'd appreciate your votes on my new question of the day:

Indy or Chicago Fan: Who are the Best Partying Fans at the Super Bowl? | Houston Texans Blog - The FanHouse

Quote:
I've met very few Indy fans in person. The ones I have met have been very nice. But I've got to admit that there's a part of me that thinks of the line from Stripes when thinking about Colt fans descending on South Beach:
Lee Harvey, you are a madman. When you stole that cow, and your friend tried to make it with the cow. I want to party with you, cowboy. If the two of us together, forget it.
The comments ask for an email addy, but they aren't really used for anything other than you approving your own comments so if you don't want to use a real one, you don't have to.

bears fans vs colts fans

i dunno that this is a tough decision. the whole city is rabid bear fans - shit we forced ditka to pick the bears last week after he decided to stay neutral. i worked a ditka wine signing that sold 115 cases of wine - ive seen people come to blows over griese/grossman. the bears fans here are unbelievable. the only place ive seen a comparable atmosphere is philly or green bay - not to say the fans of any other franchise arent as good or as big football fans but just in the numbers and total devotion (occasionally to the point of violent fanaticism) in the city

An Indy friend has informed me that Illinois has more cows in it than Indiana does.

FedEx showed up this morning with my tickets. They just put the envelope against my door so I was glad I happened to be home.

I am going to be ultra paranoid carrying those puppies with me to Miami. They are thicker and nicer than regular tickets.

I'll be top level, 10 yard line.
