It seemed to be doing well then, but you have to remember, Ellis was just an experiment at that position. Turned out, he was able to handle the position very well as a starter.

The talent that was drafted for that spot, when put on the field to produce, failed badly, and this, once again, was all Parcells guys.

Don't get me wrong, there is a good base of talent here, but there is much off-season work to be done now to get that talent properly focused, and get a coaching staff in place.

Wow, this has really pissed off people in the hockey world. All Star week, and a parade is about to start, and NONE of the media is giving hockey the time of day around here. It's like hockey doesn't even exist.

One comment made a little while ago, can't remember who said it, but they are full expecting Jerry Jones to announce a head coach on Wednesday, burying the All Star Game itself.

I the Cowboy due in fact hire a head coach on Wednesday, it will probably be quite some time before Dallas gets another NHL All Star game.

Will Parcells take another head coaching job?

He has now retired 4 times, in addition to taking a job with the Buccaneers that he eventually backed out of.
