Raiders Have Let QB Aaron Brooks Go.

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders, who own the No. 1 pick in April's NFL draft, cut ties with Aaron Brooks on Thursday, declining to pick up the option on the quarterback's contract after one difficult season.

That should make it perfectly clear that they will be going after a quarterback in the draft, unless they have some sort of shocking plans for free agency.

I am curious if they look for some type of short term fix type Vet, while the new kid learns...or if they just throw him to the wolves.

A New Begining!

If they get rid of Moss, to free up turmoil and cap space, they could pick a couple good Wide Receivers as well. This could be a good start to a new beginning for the Raider Nation. Seems like Porter is changing his tune as well.
