While the Browns are currently shopping the free agent market to improve their team, they are also attempting to cut Couch's salary in a big way.

The cut calls for over 50% in salary cuts for the next two years (from $7.6 million to $3 million this year, and from $8 million to $3.5 million in 2005.) The proposal also call for up to a $3 million dollar bonus, depending on the team's record.

Couch is so pissed that he wont even respond to the offer, and according to Sportsline.com, the Browns are working on a second proposal.

How could they not expect him to be pissed with an offer like that, but to me, I think they will be using Palmer more than Couch anyways. Might as well go somewhere else.

I think he needs to play a little better before getting so pissed. He isn't worth the coin they are offerring....

He has definately been a disappointment his entire career. Not to mention I basically lost any respect for him after he started crying when the fans were cheering because he got hurt. What a puss.

Now watch, Dallas will get him :(
