Better to be hitting the season with Andrews in the O-Line than trying to re-load in this area.

I honestly believe the Bengals are hoping Andrews wins the G job to replace Steinbach. Whitworth, who has played back up OT(both right and left) is much more valuable at OT than Andrews. This way, if a OT goes out...you don't lose as much continuity.

Phic, I think if an OT goes out, Whitworth still slides to tackle and Andrews comes in at LG.

Whitworth is going to be a hell of a lineman! He has to be in there if you want your best players on the field.

Andrews does give this team nice depth. He can also play Tackle as well. Nice to have the flexability of both of them.

that is the point, if an injury hits...you then have two people in, in differing positions, which will take time to get back in sync. If Andrews wins the job, then you don't lose that much continuity.

Andrews actually will be better at Guard IMO.

I guess that is where we disagree. Whitworth is better at either position IMO. Guess we'll find outr soon enough, both will have their shot and my guess is Whitworth takes the job.
