How about cut Rejerk like you suggested of winslow?

So then why is he a jerk and Ben not? Of course it has nothing to do with your double standard and bias does it? Of course not I mean geez at least Winslow was doing it in a parking lot which is a LOT safer than actually riding on the road.

Fact is Denver was still one of the top rushing teams in the league.
Their rushing average dropped from a 4.8 to a 4.4. Their total yards rushing dropped over 300 yards. Their total yards per game dropped by an average of 20 yards per game. They went from being #3 in rushing TD's to 15th. You wanna explain to me again how their rushing game didn't suffer?

Really? then why did they go through three and then bringin another 5 this offseason looking for one?

Spoken like someone who doesnt know football. Denver has a better team than Washington did the year before and last year. Washington was goign through new coaches with a new system and everything else. Denver made the playoffs in a weak division and what happened to them? Oh yeah thats right. They got blown out in the playoffs with what was supposed to be a better defense. Now they have no RB and they STILL have a poor defense. So how did they benefit?

Sorry I was proven right and you were proven wrong. Forget all the stats just look at the fact that they went through THREE RB's last year and now this offseason brought in a bunch more LOOKING FOR JUST ONE!!!! So apparantly they CAN'T just plug anyone in.

Perhaps we should keep this to one thread. See my responses to your really lame and reaching point of view in the Ben thread.

Time to put this one to bed.

Rush in 2004: 4th overall in NFL, 2333yds, 4.4ave, 145.8 per game, 13 TDs
Pass in 2004: 6th overall in NFL, 3999yds, 249.9 per game, 22 TDs

Rush in 2003: 2nd overall in NFL, 2629yds, 4.8 ave, 164.3 per game, 20 TDs
Pass in 2003: 22nd overall in NFL, 2969yds, 185.6yds per game, 19 TDs

Rush in 2002: 5th overall in NFL, 2266yds, 5.0 ave, 141.6 per game, 21 TDs
Pass in 2002: 5th overall in NFL, 3824yds, 239 yds per game, 21TDs

Now, what "I" see is a team that relied heavily on rush in 2003, but not in 2002 and 2004. Now, Portis was there in 2002. Overall, I would say most of loss was due to much better passing game. 2nd year in system for QB, and wr's stepped up. So YES, loss of Portis cost NOTHING.

This is laughable. YOU see this as a negative. I see this as clear fact, the SYSTEM makes the back, no matter who.

They went through three due to injuries. No matter who they put in, that guy performed, in fact was greatly sought out by other teams. You were wrong, again, get used to it. At least you should be now.

Apparantly Winslow became a white man and his bike became blue because of course the one shown as damaged was red.

Again spoken like someone who doesnt' have a clue about the game and who doesn't do his homework. In 2003 they didn't rely heavily on the run game they just got more PRODUCTION out of the run game. In 2003 they only rushed the ball 10 more times than in 2004. And in 2002 they rushed it less times and still got better production. So once again you are proven wrong as the stats CLEARLY show that the running game has SUFFERED without Portis.

Nice try

If it doesnt matter who then why dont they just pick one of those scrubs and go with them? If it doesnt matter who then why did they run through THREE RB's last season instead of just sticking with one? Of course it would have nothing to do with production would it? Of course not

Washington was right. Who is the Redskins offense? Portis. He is the focal point of that offense and are trying to get better players around him. Its not Portis' fault that their QB situation is atrocious. Again a stud back DOES make your offense better but with a team like Washington it takes time because they just don't have the personnel yet. You cant just stick anyone back there. You have to have some kind of threat to throw otherwise teams will do what they did last year and that is stack the line. You cant have a QB that throws 5 INT's in a half and expect the defense to respect the pass. Its a shame I have to explain basic football to you.

Again then WHY oh WHY have they brought in SO MANY BACKS looking for just one?

I was proven right again you are just too stubborn to admit you are wrong on this issue.

Like I said apparantly Winslow became a white man. This video is about as strong as the argument against winslow on these boards.

The pictures of Kellen Winslow's bike that I saw showed it to be a red bike. His accident was due to careless riding in a parking lot, not on a closed freeway as is shown in the video.
The "case" against Kellen Winslow is, from my point of view, one of financial actions being taken against him, and rightly so, by the Browns. They should be able to recoup some of their salary and bonus that has been paid to him for his blatant violation of his contract, causing him to miss time at work. Nothing more, nothing less. Its a simple case of a contract not being adhered to by one party and the other party suffering damage from the breach.
Zepp, I'll give you props for being right about being able to tell your colors apart. That's a step in the right direction. Perhaps tomorrow we can start counting?????

BWAHAHAHA WRONG! Sorry, just by looking at total plays and number of attempts, you can tell they focused MORE on run due to inexperience of QB in system. You can spin all you want...YOU WERE WRONG.

Are you just stupid? Have you EVEN seen Ruben Droughns' career BEFORE he got to Denver? Puhleaze. Again dufus, they went to three backs due to injuries. Try to read a paper once in a while. Sheesh.

Funny how your argument changes when you are losing. YOU were the one that said a STUD back gives you everything. Now its bad QB play. Give me a friggen break.

This video has nothing to do with anything. I am going off direct accounts in the Cleveland paper and other news sources...not some crappy video. He was screwing around and got hurt again....that is the fact.

There is no such thing as riding a motorcycle safely. Its a dangerous vehicle. If driving a car is more dangerous than flying in an airplane then riding a motorcycle is 10 times more dangerous. You can get into a car accident and live. If you get into an accident and your're on a bike 9 times out of 10 you die.

spin? Its called facts! How can you say they focused more on the run in 2003 when they only ran the ball 10 more times. God are you that stupid?

Wrong again. They went through three backs because Quentin Griffin sucked and then Reuben Droughns had fumbilities. Now they brought in a few more to camp just to hopefully find one.

No its just when you start losing an argument you start changing what the other person is saying. I never said that a stud back gives you everything I said a stud back is more important than a stud corner and that fact has been proven over and over and over again.

Oh come on. How lame can you possibly get? Yes, it IS possible to ride a motorcycle safely. I have known too many who do, and had no issues. However, if you are going to be stupid and speed and pop wheelies...then you end up like Hurijerk.

Oh, nice try. Go back and check again Zepp. They used alot more passing attempts the other two years. Considerably less in 2003. Overall number of plays shows more use of running game.

Nope. Go back and look. Both had lingering minor injuries, and were replaced and when replaced the person that came in boomed. Why? Cause the system makes it that way.

Not in Washington, nor in Philly, nor in Minnesota, nor in a lot of other teams. Sorry, you did say it, and you are STILL wrong.

Yeah and the overall number of rushing plays is only 10 more in 2003 than 2004. Again they just received more production in both 2002 and 2003 than they did in 2004 that is a fact you cannot deny.

Sorry philly does have a stud back and in fact have NO stud corners. New Englad has a stud back and were playign with WR's as their corners.

No, he didn't. Hurijerk was doing stupid crap that will ONLY get you killed. He was damn lucky...or maybe not, since we are now ONE FULL week in the Hospital with NO release in sight.
