Onterrio Smith facing suspension

Haven't heard anything concrete yet, but it is sounding like he is out for a year. Not good news for the Vikings, but at least they have some depth at RB.

I drafted Ciatrick Fason in a dynasty league a couple days ago with the 14th overall pick, banking on him being an impact player in 2006. There is a good chance that he could be getting some quality playing time by mid season this year now.

Moe Williams - 3rd down back, getting old, getting slower
Bennett - It's not a question of if, but a question of when he will get hurt. Cannot Block
Mewelde Moore - Cannot block, and came close to getting Culpepper killed a few times last season. He has admitted that he doesnt "like" to block.

Fason is looked at as a quicker Moe Williams. Plenty of power, nice speed, and should be more than capable at the goal line (no need to pull him when you get there).

You got three issues here.
One, Moe Williams will be the TD vulture and short yardage back. He is healthy this year, and from what I have read Tice is in his corner. He WAS a RFA and not sure he resigned though.
If healthy, I see them using Bennett more this year. However we all know he can't stay healthy. In last year of his contract also...so he might be gone regardless.
That leaves Moore and Fason. Tice would prefer NOT to start a rookie. So Moore is definately a target for later rounds in the draft. But I would not discount Moe Williams yet.

Fason is #4 on the depth chart he wont see much time this year.

His case is still being reviewed by the leage, he's suspended untill they make a decide what his punishment will be. I don't know if their a rule against having a device that used to cheast a piss test outside a testing station. Some kind of suspension will be handed out but I'm not sure if it will be for the entire year.

Uh...you are missing the issue here. The league has already ruled the Whizzinator isn't an issue unless USED in a test. He is currently being put under suspension for MISSING a test, which in the NFL policy is equal to failing a test. However he has 5 days to appeal. If he does not appeal, or his appeal is denied, it is a mandatory 1 year suspension for a third strike.
