The Last Word on Kellen Winslow

Kellen Winslow will likely not play for at least another season, due to the injuries he suffered in the infamous motorcycle accident. He has been formally charged with a misdemeanor in the incident -- no more talk about it being just an accident.

The fact that he got charged with a misdemeanor doesnt make it any less of an accident unless you are trying to imply that he crashed on purpose

Zepp, Kellen Winslow was charged with a traffic offense in the accident. He was not riding responsibly. The fine is not huge ($150), but the loss of income and the fact that the Browns can request much of his bonus to be repaid will cost him a lot. Not to mention the rehab of torn ligaments in his knee which could possibly reduce his speed and flexibility (costing him his "edge").
Sorry Zepp, but Kellen Winslow did something stupid and cost himself a whole lot of money.

If Kellen Jr. is half the player his dad was, he'll be pretty good. That is yet to be shown, however as he has only played a game and a half in his career.
No way you can compare his play to his dad's just yet. Lets see if he can play as many productive years.

Is the ESPN staff writer just another "hater" or is there truth in his story?
It appears Kellen Winslow has a lot of work to do to deserve the titles he has bestowed upon himself.
Like I said, if he is half the player his father was he'll be pretty good. That is yet to be seen, however. Kellen Winslow, Jr. has not shown me that he is nearly as good a player as his father was.
