The charges came after police there reviewed a videotape that showed Winslow, said to be a novice rider, performing wheelies in a parking lot. Browns officials have also seen the tape.
Wheelies? Wasn't a certian poster here insisting that he was going slow and driving safely in the parking lot?

Playing Evil Knievel cost Soulja a shitload of money.

He was going slow. The report didnt say that he crashed trying to do a wheelie it said he fell off going about 30 mph. Anyone can fall off a bike riding it out of a driveway let alone in a parking lot.

I guess it all depends on where you're at to say if 30mph is fast or not.....

30mph = slow on the interstate
30mph = fast in a parking lot when you're about to hit a curb and tear your ACL.

30 mph is slow under any circumstances. Again a parking lot is big...going 30 mph in a parking lot is no big deal. Once again if you have ever ridden a motorcycle like that you would know that you could probably hit 30 in the first gear. It is not fast under any circumstances ESPECIALLY on a bike. The fact that he fell could happen to anyone. You can be an experienced pro on the bike and still fall off. It had nothing to do with him being a novice or doing wheelies. Falling off is, as many people learn the hard way, part of riding a motorcycle.

Wrong.

Any competent driver knows that the maximum safe speed at which one can drive is affected by a number of factors:

- the road condition (dry, wet, snowy, icy etc.)
- the vehicle's mechanical condition (drive-train, tires, brakes, steering etc.)
- the driver's ability (fatique, age, emotion, mind concentration, drug influence etc.)
- the traffic condition (dense, moderate, light)
- visibility (day, night, fog, snow storm, heavy rain etc.)

Collisions occur because drivers fail to heed one or more of the 5 factors above, not solely because a magic number painted on a white sign is exceeded - although guidelines are there for a reason!

If it were raining something awful...or snowing/sleeting...30 mph would be too fast. I concede that these conditions were not present when Winslow was riding....but, you said yourslef, Zepp, that he was "learning" to ride...so, you have to admit that 30mph was too fast. And, that excessive speed (in a parking lot, nonetheless) resulted in him hitting the curb. If he had been going the proper speed limit, he MAY have been able to avoid the crash.

30mph is alot faster when you're about to hit something. If you've ever been in a wreck or even seen one at that speed you'd know what I mean.....going 30 to zero in a very short amount of time does not feel good.....he's lucky that he's not even worse off because he didn't even have a helmet on properly (and who knows, he may be hurt worse than anyone here knows).

He didn't just "fall off", he was monkeying around taking chances doing dangerous, risky manuevers and it bit him on the ass $5 million later. People don't just hit curbs in parking lots while driving safely.

Dude he wasnt' driving a car he was riding a motorcyle. 30 MPH is NOT fast especially when youre riding a motorcyle. You might drive like driving Miss Daisy but 30 mph isn't even fast for a car. give me a friggin break. And again funny how you haters dont say anything about Ben Roethlisberger refusing to wear a helmet.

Wrong he fell off. The police report didn't say anything about him crashing doing a wheelie and you dont need to be doing wheelies to crash on a bike. Again you can fall off that thing just pulling out of the driveway.

What do you think he hit that curb on purpose? Bikes are very powerful fast machines and they are hard to control at times. Fact is there is no such thing as riding a speed bike, which is what he was riding, safely. You crash plain and simple. Its part of riding a bike.

No 30 MPH under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE is not fast I dont give a fuck if you have rain sleet or snow on the friggin roads.

Im sorry but to say that "if he had been going the correct speed he wouldnt have hit the curb" is so fucking stupid I dont even know where to begin. HE WASNT DRIVING A CAR HE WAS RIDING A SPEED BIKE!!!! Again you can hit 30 mph in the first gear. They are fast powerful machines. Going 30 mph on a speed bike is about as safe a speed as you can ride a bike. The only safer speed than that is parked...and even then people I know have been hurt on a bike that wasn't even moving. They are big fast heavy powerful vehicles. Learn a little bit about the subject before commenting on it.

Well, aparently you did. And, don't put quotations around stuff that i DID NOT SAY! I said, "If he had been going the proper speed limit, he MAY have been able to avoid the crash"

Now, if you want to argue what I REALLY said, go ahead...but, dont argue with stuff that you make up.

Does speed really matter when you are stupid, immature and doing wheelies in a small confined area?

Again thats stupid GBG no matter how you want to phrase it. You obviously have never ridden a motorcycle before. How many times do I have to explain that they are big heavy powerful machines before it finally sinks in? Going 30 mph on a motorcycle is equivalent to going 15 in an actual car. It is an extremely slow speed for a motorcycle to be going thus he was going at a safe speed.

You know what? You may very well be the most ignorant person I have ever met in my entire life. Really, no joke. We are beating a dead horse here.
Someone, PLEASE close this thread. Zepp's uselessness is giving me a headache.

Zepp, get on a motorcycle - or even a bicycle and go down a steep hill. Go down it 30mph and hit a curb and then tell me if 30mph is fast.

I wonder why he's being cited? The police usually don't ticket people for going slow and safe in parking lots.

I'm glad the Browns are taking his bonuses....maybe it'll make him grow up and act more responsible now.

See the police charges dipshit. He was cited for what he did. YOU are a loser trying to defend an idiot. How typical.

Again Bucknut Im sorry if all you do is ride bicycles with a little basket in the front but riding a motorcycle is a little bit different.

Because he was doing wheelies in a parking lot on videotape. Again if you know anything about the bike culture you know that cops anywhere hate motorcycle riders...not the guys on harleys just the guys on speed bikes why? Because they damn well know they can leave them in the dust.
