Exclamation

Just got an email update from Footballguys.com. Last year he had a 4 week suspension for substance abuse. So if this is true, he gets a year off due to league policy. However, rumors are flying the Seahawks are gonna just cut him instead.

Hope he has some good lawyers to help him out with his "not guilty" plea.

the charge is weird. he was cited on "suspicion of dui and reckless driving". Not sure how the laws work there, but here you are either drunk or not drunk, and you are tested on the spot.

In Texas, your drivers license is automatically suspended if you refuse to be tested. Not sure what happens after that point for sure as I have never been in the situation.

I know in florida you can refuse a breathalizer but then youre taken to jail for like an hour. Better that than blow into that machine and it comes up your drunk.

yeah, that is basically how it happens in Texas. Its just what happens after that where I am unclear. I have heard that it is best to refuse the test, then take you chances afterwards. It doesnt say anything about K-Rob being arrested though, so I dont know what happened in this case.

What sucks is I made a trade and picked him up in a dynasty league. Gonna really hurt this year if he ends out for a season.

I am pretty sure it states in the article they arrested him and he had to post bail. In Ohio its as it is in Florida. You can refuse to be tested, but you get arrested and spend some hours in jail. However in Oh, if they have probable cause to believe you are drunk, they can charge you without the test if you refuse.

In Germany they don't play that game. If they want to test you and you refuse they have the right to get a blood sample under force.
