Patriots win the Super Bowl... and get the #1 pick!

Patriots own the 49rs first rd. pick. (traded the #28 pick in '07 to SF for it. SF took OT Joe Staley)

what are the chances that the Patriots finish first....
and the 49rs finish last?

There is also a chance, although a bit less, that DAL could be in the same situation as they own the CLE #1 for '08. (see Brady Quinn deal)

Seeing how St. Louis, Miami and New Orleans all haven't won a game and San Fran and Cleveland have won the chances of Dallas or New England getting the first pick won't be good.

I think the Rams have the best chance at this point, not only to have the #1 pick, but to also have a new head coach. If he don't turn things around quick, he is gone.

I agree with Mike - the Rams have to be the favorites to get the #1 pick at the moment... although Miami is a close 2nd.

The Rams and the Dolphins are probably the only thing in the way of Darren McFadden going #1, and they could ultimately cause him to drop to #3 as running back is far from the primary concern for these teams.

I wouldn't peg running back as the Saints' primary concern, either.

I would. McAllister has two bad knees now if he makes it back 100%, and Bush, though a good weapon, doesnt exactly look like feature back material.

Brees is having a bad year. He had a super year last year, and before that hes had steady productive seasons. Sometimes shit happens.

Look at Minnesota. If New Orleans has Adrian Peterson behind Brees insteand of Bush, whos to say that NO hasnt won a couple more games?
