looks like the giants earned some respect... the line opened up a whole point lower this time!

The battle line is drawn through Hartford Connecticut and I dont think the NFL could have asked for a better superbowl. This will be the highest rated Superbowl in years.

highest rated in the northeast maybe. other than that, id say people will only be watching because:

1) its the super bowl
2) to tune in and see if perfection gets completed

this is FAR from the ideal super bowl matchup any of the producers could have dreamed up.

shocked to see yet another huge line like this. Patriots have not been covering these huge spreads lately, but I guess some are still willing to put the money out there.

Me either. Have not heard any positive reaction to this matchup at all.

As for me, I will watch it if I am at home with absolutely nothing else to do.

Yeah, I'm indifferent to these teams. I would've been far more interested in seeing Favre get a chance to retire on top or the Chargers represent the western US.

I'll watch it of course, but won't care much about the result.

im mostly excited about the super bowl losers curse where the losing SB team has an awful fall-apart season the next year. i dont even care which one loses at this point, its a win-win situation.

We will see in two weeks when the ratings come out. Two east coast teams and one going for perfection. I guess if your just going to watch it because you have nothing better to do you have no interest in football.

watching two teams that you have absolutely zero interest in, both of which you don't want to see win the game, may be of interest to you, but not to me.

There is just absolutely nothing for me to root for in this game. No team, no individual achievement, nothing.

You see. That just happens when youre a hater thats jealous because the Giants beat the sorry cowboys. How can you follow football, work on a football site, and not be interested in seeing the Super Bowl no matter who it is. How many times have we had to suffer through Cowboy super bowls agianst the Bills...give me a friggin break. Its still the Super Bowl.

Thats what happens when youre a hater. But one fact you'll always have to accept....the cowboys are at home or maybe in Cabo San Lucas...and the Giants?

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

WE GOIN' TO DA SHOW!!!

LOL!!!!

He may be a bandwagon fan but he speaks the absolute truth. For me I have watched every superbowl since I can remember because it is the Superbowl. No matter if its the Pats or not its the biggest game of the year. Also its the first time since the year I was born that a team may go undefeated. No matter if you are a football fan or not; it is history and if you love football it is a must watch game.

a little surprised to see the line that high. I think the Giants cover. Pats aren't known for their SB blowouts, a FG was the difference in their SB wins.

I am probably going to watch it, but like I said, the game is of little interest to me. It's not something I would turn down a good 4 wheeler ride for though.

Seriously though, nothing about this game is appealing to me right now. Of all the potential matchups that were possible when the playoffs started, this is the last one I wanted to see.
