Didn't we make it to the Superbowl that year?

Anyway, Chad isn't T.O. Although I personally think Drew Rosenhaus was a lot at fault with T.O.

Come to Philly, Chad!!! I would love to wear 85!!! Hell, I'll buy some gold teeth too

I think the Pats will make a play for Chad Johnson to replace Donte Stallworth.
Brady needs more weapons.

Well you'll be jumping for joy to know that CJ's agent is the one and only Drew Rosenhaus!

And you may have made it to the SB, but you didn't win, and the saga tore the team apart and made it a circus act....I'm pretty sure most will agree that the TO experiment was a failure.

Now I will agree with you that CJ is not TO. And that is why he's not going ANYWHERE. Ocho will be wearing Bengal stripes next season.

Here Chaddy, Chaddy, Chaddy. Venga a Miami.

FYI: Chad's from Miami, which is why he wants to be with the Fins. It pains me, though, that he doesn't know Miami's color scheme is Aqua, Coral, White, and Navy.

He doesn't have to, he just has to make them look decent. He can do that simply be being on the field, because no sane defense is going to stack the box again Brown and leave the Ginn/Ocho combo with man coverage. Not even Cassel could screw that up.

It's twelve days old, from January 17th, but may have some relevance.

Quote:
Marvin Lewis:
Lewis, addressing those remarks on Wednesday, said, "He didn't say anything different -- that he was unduly chastised for being this or that. He's going to go back and be a pro and go forward and play. As I said then, there will be no trade of Chad Johnson. Repeat it again."

Lewis' daughter had notified him of Johnson's appearance on radio, and Lewis was not surprised by everything Johnson brought up. Asked about Johnson's attitude, Lewis said, "I can't control that. That doesn't mean anything to me right now. He's a special player and he's a Cincinnati Bengal for quite a while."
ESPN - Lewis says Bengals won't trade Johnson, believes he will 'be a pro' - NFL

Miller, I think CJ is staying in Cinci too. But a girl can dream, can't she?

What I meant about Drew Rosenhaus, who I think is generally a fine agent, is that he took over T.O.'s contract that T.O. NEVER SHOULD HAVE SIGNED according to the nflpa because his former agent was a loser (he forgot to file the FA papers, too, remember?). Drew, of course, preferred a new big contract, since he works on commission, and convinced T.O., who is not the most stable guy in the world, hence BIG MESS!!!

I mean, it's a little more complicated than that, but that's part of my theory on T.O. oh, and i'm glad at least we made it to the SB, to be honest. it was tough to lose but woulda been tougher not to make it. so there.

anyway, I think C.J. is smarter than T.O. and less troubled. this was a tough season for the bungles but they will rebound. chad unfortunately will not be wearing a midnight green or retro-sweden jersey next year

Per Profootballtalk.com/rumormill on Monday, it looks like Chad was going off the rumor that his old WR coach Hue Jackson is interviewing for a position with the Phins.

"Jackson was Johnson's position coach in Cincinnati through 2006, and coincidentally Johnson was never regarded as a malcontent or a trouble-maker until his first season without Jackson (with the exception, of course, of Johnson's halftime meltdown during a 2005 Wild-Card playoff game against the Steelers).
Adding fuel to the theory are undated comments from Chad Johnson on NFL Network, in which he strongly hints that he'd like to play for the Dolphins -- and then closes by saying, "Parcells call me, man." "

I don't see CJ going this year. In past cases i.e. Pickens, Dillon and others, they were dropped only once thier value wasn't seen as helpful.

Like him or not, cincy's passing game drops like a rock without CJ on one side and Housh on the other. Henry isn't a long term fix...neither is anyone else.

Ocho Cinco to the Raiders?

CJ jokingly (or not) tells Al to come get him at 0:50.

Also, Miss Nevada is definitely worth a look at 1:49.

You know, if this was T.O. doing this, there would be a 1,000 post thread talking about the controversy

(or Randy Moss before he joined the Patriots and suddenly became liked by everybody)
