| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Raiders Cut RB Dominic Rhodes/Where Does He Land? There was a lot of speculation that the Raiders banged up RB Michael Bush would be cut during the off-season no matter what happens in the draft. With RB McFadden added to the roster via the draft Bush would seem a goner. Surprise, RB Dominic Rhodes gets cut. A trade during the draft put the Raiders over the cap by a number that is very close to Rhodes salary. Rhodes should be able to find a spot on someones roster. ESPN - Rhodes is odd man out after Raiders draft McFadden - NFL

| TO THE DEATH | New Orleans, Carolina, or even back with Indianapolis. NO needs some insurance between Bush's inablity to run between the tackles and Duece's shaky knee. Rhodes would fit into Carolina's offense and with Foster gone, a proven backup would be a nice addition. Indi knows him, and he knows them. There is no learning curve their. Now that they know what the offense looks like without Addai, a little proven insurance would be nice, especially a guy who comes in from day one and doesn't have to spend a bunch of time catching up. |

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | I agree, I didn't think they would cut Michael Bush either. But there was a lot of reports of his being a potential cut floating around. Lamont would have saved the Raiders another $3 million over cutting Rhodes. Is Lamont Jordan more comfortable now? |

A healthy Jordan might feel comfortable, but back problems don't go away, trust me I have back issues myself. His only saving grace is that Al loves the guy, and well, Bush isn't proven yet. If Bush has a good TC, I think Jordan gets cut, traded, etc...

As usual, Sarge points out why the Colts are unlikely to re-sign Dominic Rhodes. I'll add this info to support The Sarge. Colts selected Michigan RB Mike Hart with the No. 201 pick in the NFL Draft. Hart slid far longer than he wanted, but he has a chance to contribute immediatley for a Super Bowl contender. He should challenge Kenton Keith immediatley to be Joseph Addai's backup and help out on third downs. While NFL teams knocked Hart for his lack of explosion, he could churn out regular yardage if asked for the Colts. Any Indy back is someone to watch in fantasy leagues.

| Delivery Boy | If he lands with the Jets or the Saints you can only be sure of one thing. Inside of 2 years he will be back on the block again. |

| Psychopath | What about the Chargers? Who will be filling Turner's role in the run game? I think, perhaps, Rhodes with Tomlinson could result in the same outcome as we saw in Turner with Tomlinson. |
