wow, bump up Pittman and Young now. Great news for their owners. Torrian also becomes a nice sleeper again for some. Just goes to show, you never know with the Rat.

so it looks like it will be one of these three now: Selvin Young, Michael Pittman, or the long shot Ryan Torain.

which one do you like, and where do you draft any of them?

Gut tells me RBBC with Young and Pittman. Shanny loves him some vets. Keep an eye out though you still have Andre Hall and Torain there.

Absolutely love Pittman's value here now.

funny, just got done reading a story where Shanny was saying Herny has to keep his nose clean and stay healthy..and he will be fine. Wonder if we have another drug issue with Henry coming?

Just because Marvin Lewis can be read like a childrens book, don't take it out on Shannie.

Selvin starts, Pittman backs, Torain gets goal line carries if he learns to get his pads down, otherwise he sits and learns. At least that's my guess.

Broncos released RB Travis Henry.
"Although Travis has the ability to be one of the top running backs in the NFL," coach Mike Shanahan said in a pointed statement, "We did not feel his commitment to the Broncos was enough to warrant a spot on this football team." We suspect Shanahan is referring to Henry's conditioning, which potentially led to his hamstring strain. Henry, 29, has played a full season just once in his career and is one missed or failed drug test away from a one-year suspension. The Broncos are smart to move on. Henry will likely have to take a deal for around the minimum to catch on elsewhere. Jun. 2 - 12:34 pm et

Not taking anything out on the Rat, he's a good coach, but you never know what your getting from him at RB....

If there is another drug issue, as you stated here it would result in a 1 year suspension.

To see them draft Torain, and bring in Pittman, I had a feeling that Travis Henry's days as a Bronco were numbered.

Crap! I was in the works to grab Pittman in a trade. Now his price just went up. I wish I had closed the deal. LOL

Houston tends to like spare running backs these days.

I don't draft Young or Pittman because there is too much risk with a Denver running back to take either of these guys where you would have to get them at. Torain will probably be in the same boat in many leauges because out of 12 owners, there will be a couple willing to reach a little high on the potential of having a productive running back.

You also have to keep Mike Bell in the back of your mind when approaching this mess. He landed in the doghouse last year, but there is always the chance of climbing back out of it.

You still also have Cecil Sapp in the mix.

Both Bell and Sapp got put into the fullback role last year, but we all know Shanahan well enough to know that we don't have a clue as to what he will ultimately do with this stockpile of running backs for 2008.

On the bubble bigtime with the drafting of Hillis.

Very good point as this guy has gotten quite a bit of good pub. Some say the best fullback in the draft, but for some reason he barely got drafted. I think there is a little concern as to exactly how good he was, compared to the great college talent he is popular for blocking in front of.

It will be interesting to see how the fullback position develops in Denver though with this addition.

I don't see how Shanahan can keep all of these backs this year though. Somebody has to go away. I thought that might be Bell last year, as I still see him as a very good back in that system, and could be a great fit in Houston.

Circle is to square as Rectangle is to oval.

3 is to 6 as 1 is to 2

Tampa Bay is to QB as Denver is to RB

seriously..doesnt Denver and Tampa have like 30 QBs and RBs on the roster?
