| Genibus Nitito Canus Premium Member Moderator | Ryan Grant: Believe the Hype? So I see this Ryan Grant fellow, who did have a nice part of a season last year, is now being heralded as late first or second round fodder. Im reminded of what Green Bay had last year....a first ballot hall of famer under center and good WRs...... Now theyve got question marks in the form of Aaron Rodgers under center, and if somthing happens Brian Brohm.... So....with much less in the passing game this year, am I still to believe the Grant hype?

| Outlaw | Im totally on board with you guys. This topic actually angers me!! Although Im perfectly fine with anyone in my league taking him in the 1st round. Ryan Grant is going to fade away. He won't even be a top 15 back this year. |

| fLawless | Certainly a risk. Although I've never thought Brandon Jackson to be the second coming of Ahman Green one has to think he's going to get some playing time. If the Packers think they're playoff bound even more so. I'm more concerned about the health of Rodgers than I am his play. The staff will obviously work on his getting rid of the ball and minimizing contact, and not hucking it up for grabs, "First Ballot" style. I don't believe Grant should be a first round pick. As you reach the turn in the second round he's got to be on your mind. jmo |

| Yeah.......That's me! | I will consider Grant as a #2 Rb around the first corner, but he won't make it past pick 16 often. The only way I would want him as my #1 is if I had taken Brady in the first round, and that likely won't happen with me. I just don't think I could do it without some form of therapy! |

To me this is a guy your going to be taking later in the second..maybe even ends up paired with LT and whoever the other guy is the #1 pick holder takes at the end of the second and top of the third. |

| Who Me? Admin | I wouldn't consider him until the 3rd to be honest. I'm not setting my foundation on the name Ryan Grant, just too much uncertainty for me.

| Thats Mr. Slabaugh to you | I go back to Week 10 against the Vikings when Ryan Grant scorched the number one rush defense for 119 yds and a TD. The o-line is catching on to the zone blocking scheme and is pretty young. There has been many a team with a great runningback to get shut down by the Vikes run D. Larry Johnson-42 yds, Brian Westbrook-46 yds, LT 40 yds!!!! My point is I don't think that Grant is a flash in the pan. There is a lot more going on in GB than Favre such as a very good young D which will keep Grant on the field and I believe that Rodgers (or Brohm) has enough weapons to be a pretty good QB and keep the D honest. |

| Genibus Nitito Canus Premium Member Moderator | Your taking one pass and skewing the fact that Brett Farve was the reason Grant had those holes to run through. Your also ignoring his loss and how it equates to less room for Grant. |

| Thats Mr. Slabaugh to you | Packers vs. Cowboys Aaron Rodgers at the helm-here is Grant's stat line: 14 car. for 94 yds and 2 TD (6.7 YPC!!!!!!) Aaron Rodgers stat line: 18-26 201 yds 1 TD 0 INT 69 percent accuracy and also 30 yds rushing. Sounds like a good combo to me |

I thought I knew you better than that Sarge. Did you watch Rodgers take the Cowboys apart last year? If anything the Packers are better without Favre. Less room? Not if Rodgers stays healthy. | |||
