Brandon Marshall watch

This guy looks to be trouble. I definitely move him down now.

Quote:
Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was arrested here March 6 on a misdemeanor battery charge, his third arrest in 12 months and second involving a domestic dispute.

Marshall could be suspended by the NFL under its Personal Conduct Policy because of multiple arrests and alleged incidents. He also was charged with driving under the influence in October 2007 and is set to go to trial in September on that charge. A previous domestic-violence charge, from an arrest in March 2007, has been dismissed.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the league is looking into Marshall's latest arrest but had no further comment Tuesday.

His arm won't have gotten hurt if his girlfriend hadn't ducked.

I think I am sniffing a short time out of a game or two for Mr. Marshall coming. I think his value is about to hit rock bottom soon.

why rock bottom even if he misses 2 games he is still the best receiver of the bunch... stokley can not be the primary receiver.

Because I think this is only the beginning. I see Chris Henry part two here, where the kid just doesn't learn, and keeps making bad decisions. I see no effort, nor ability to turn it around.

He's sliding quickly into undraftable status.. (ok I'd take him in the 8th round, maybe).. and I'm turning more affection towards the legendary iron man known as Darrell Jackson!

Hi perceived value is definitely dropping. This is great news for those value hunters like me out there. Find this guy in the 4th round and don't be bothered by the pending suspension.
Know this : Criminals make the best football players.

Read my newest Sarges Rap Sheet:

Sarge's Rap Sheet #9: Brandon Marshall, WR, DEN

I think its all situation from an on the field perspective. Off the field? I dont see a difference.

-- Brandon Marshall Ticketed --
Tue Jul 8, 2008 --from FFMastermind.com
The Denver Post reports Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall was ticketed on June 12 for making an illegal lane change, according to Denver County Court records. Marshall was stopped on northbound Interstate-25 between Broadway and Santa Fe Drive and also ticketed for not having his driver's license or proof of insurance, the court document says. Marshall is scheduled to be arraigned on July 24, according to the records.

It happened on June 12th, but it happened.

id say 2 games, max. its just not a big concern to me personally. hes not going to miss a ton of time, and it might give a nice little midseason break to rehab some injuries. you can always find some other usable WR to fill in a few games. if marshall is putting up high PPG the rest, you'll be fine.

Normally I would agree. But this guy is starting to pile up the offenses. A four or more game shot would not surprise me at all if this keeps up.

I look for 4 games, or around 20-30 catches and 1-3 tds. That still leaves 75+ catches and 9-10 td's, but I just don't like players who come back in situations like this. (from suspensions or hold outs) They seem to take extra time to get back into a groove and seem more prone to injury. Just a personal opinion with nothing solid to back it up.

  • -- Shanahan Backs Marshall, But Cutler is Concerned --

    Fri Jul 11, 2008 --from FFMastermind.com
  • The Denver Post reports Broncos HC Mike Shanahan gave his support to third-year WR Brandon Marshall yesterday and didn't give any indication he would suspend him. "I can't go into great detail, for obvious reasons, but Brandon has a good upside and he's a real good kid," said Shanahan, who's entered in this weekend's American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. "I feel very good where Brandon's at. I think he'll be fine." Shanahan said Marshall's biggest problem has been with a female companion. "He's had problems with one person over and over again, and hopefully he's smart enough to stay away from her," Shanahan said. Marshall could be suspended under the NFL's personal conduct policy because of his multiple arrests from March 2007 into 2008 and other run-ins with the law since he was drafted by the Broncos in 2006. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello has confirmed the NFL is investigating Marshall but Thursday he said no decision has been made. QB Jay Cutler is concerned about the recurring trouble Marshall is in and whether he'll have his go-to receiver once the season starts. "Once or twice — you could live with that," Cutler told Denver television station KUSA-9 this week. "You say people make mistakes, but I mean it's been three, four, five times. I don't know how many times he's at right now, so I don't know what's gonna happen. I don't know if Mike's going to do anything. I don't know if the league's going to do anything. I just hope he gets his act together, cause it'd be a shame for him to waste all that talent."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This has to be causing a strain between Cutler and Marshall. Cutler keeps calling him out.

Mark it here. If he pleads guilty to the DUI, or makes a deal...he will get a banhammer from Goodell. He is just waiting on the official status of his trial.
