| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Seahawks' WR Deion Branch, who had reconstructive knee surgery in January to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, is making steady progress in his recovery. However according to reports he's expected to miss all of training camp and the preseason and team officials believe that he will start the regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Branch injured his knee during last season's playoff loss to the Packers and he underwent surgery to repair the damage soon after. Things have well for Branch since then. The medical staff is reportedly pleased with his recovery and Branch is confident that he will be back on the field at some point this season. Except for this part the rest was Baloney. Dieon Branch is PUPed, working out off of the practice field with coaches.

| Genibus Nitito Canus Premium Member Forum Leader | I paid too much for this guy last year and wont do so again. Still, if, and its a big IF, he returns healthy and to form, teamed with Burleson and Engram in the slot they could be deadly.

| Outlaw | I think this is still speculation and wishful thinking, but "hopeful" for week 1. Seahawks Update: QR Engram Reports Danny O'Neil, Seattle Times - [Full Article] The Seattle Seahawks practiced today minus only one player, as TE John Carlson, is the lone remaining draft pick who is unsigned. WR Bobby Engram was at practice after skipping all voluntary workouts. LB Will Herring was not practicing, and HC Mike Holmgren indicated an illness is affecting Herring. WR Deion Branch was on the field for individual workouts. He did agility drills and caught some passes, and Holmgren said afterward the hope is Branch will be ready for the the season opener. DT Marcus Tubbs and P Ryan Plackemeier are also recovering from injuries. Holmgren said Plackemeier is able to punt and should be back in a week or two. Holmgren said he hopes to have Tubbs ready for week one as well. link didn't add . . . here it is . . . http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.co...rning_attenda/ |
