Josh Morgan, WR, SF - Your Super Sleeper

If you're looking for sleepers this year, Morgan could be that guy.

I just put in a waiver claim in a dynasty league. With only Bryant Johnson in his way, its a nice lottery ticket.

Martz always makes some unknown WR fantasy friendly if not a stud. Furrey two years ago, McDonald last season. If you have room on your roster for Morgan, go for it!

Indeed.

However, consider:

"J.T. O'Sullivan's first pass sailed wide of Josh Morgan. His second fluttered behind Isaac Bruce." - Mercury News

Morgan gets the first target.

"WR JOSH MORGAN: He's way past securing a roster spot and on his way to grabbing a starting spot. He looks increasingly like a Marques Colston-like late-round steal. In position to take over Bryant Johnson's starting job." - San Jose Mercury

It's not just in the games, it's in practice and it's impressive.

(Rotoworld) Josh Morgan caught five passes for 114 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco's second preseason game.Analysis: Start the hype machine! Morgan's 59-yard score came on a blown coverage, but the physical receiver dominated Green Bay's smaller corners for the rest of the game. Morgan is giving himself a chance to start sooner than later, and could rival any rookie receiver's potential this year. Go get him, dynasty leaguers.

The 49ers can't stop throwing too, talking about or thinking about Josh Morgan.

I mean dang, it's a sleeper pick.

I'm probably going to take a gamble on this guy with a super-late pick

This is the thread that led to Josh Morgan getting selected in many drafts around this great nation.

Perhaps a definition of, "Super-Sleeper" is in order.

Super-Sleeper
n.
Fantasy Football term. Below expectations and Above realization. Worth a shot before you draft a second kicker and worth drafting for bragging rights. See :Marques Colston.

Oh yeah. That's right. and let's see MJD, too.

Same year I drafted MJD in the IBL, the only person to draft MJD, btw, I also authored an article on one Marques Colston, before the season started, as a TE/WR.

It was close on Morgan. Real close. So close you'll not forget.

and finally, I have never, ever tooted my own horn. well, once, when i was 11 and was really, really limber. shhhhh

Good call on Morgan. Now, if we could only get a coach that would PLAY him. I started him last week. Now he's on waivers again, since it's a bye week. Sigh.

Antonio failed me twice already this season. And last week I don't think he was all that stellar was he?

Depends if your in PPR or not. He has won me two games so far so I guess you just have to know when to play him.
