Shouldn't actually make the list as he will start this week. But Pats WR Wes Welker missed practice for a little over a week with a rib injury he got on Friday Aug. 22nd in a preseason game. He rejoined practice this week and will play in the opener. But if Welker is your guy and you can get a chance to watch him you should probably check him out. Is he wearing a flak jacket? Slow to get up after hits? Smiling on the sideline? Just saying you may want to get your own injury intel by watching him play if you can. You sure won't get it from the Pats.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier was shot and critically wounded outside an apartment building early Tuesday as he and a former teammate waited for two women they had met at a nightclub, police said.

Seahawks WR Deion Branch has been recovering and rehabing all offseason. The Seahawks have always said they were hoping that he may be ready for the regular season, but he may not be. It is sounding like he may not be ready for Week 1. Sounds more like it is more a matter of conditioning rather than the rehab at this point. Deion said he didn't think he would be ready.

That was yesterday, now today we have : The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren said WR Deion Branch (knee) will practice this week and will try to play Week 1.
