Colts RB Joseph Addai Leaves Game Injured

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai (head) left the team's Week 1 game early after suffering a head injury.

Addai didn't return and may have suffered a concussion. This could have a big fantasy impact if he is not available next week. Addai is a top RB who is backed up by RB Dominick Rhodes. If you are an Addai owner keep tabs on this situation this week.

Watched the replay of this injury this morning (had to listen to the game on the radio, but recorded it on TV). It didn't look like a very hard hit to his head, maybe the guy caught it just right.

gotta think this can't be too serious though, and hopefully he was just taken out as a precaution.

Report is Addai is fine and could have returned if the game was close. I wouldnt worry about this one to much. Hit just liked it made him loopy for a few minutes.

I dont think he's in any real danger. They were not going to win the game and especially with Brady going down, no shame in protecting your top RB with 15 more potential wins down the road.

Wow. I hope he bounces back from this one for next week. Would hate to see him go down as well. This week was a bad week for first round fantasy picks.

No doubt. Brady goes down. LT has a so so day. SJAX was so so as well and his team looked awful. Addai and Barber get a lil banged up. Moss loses his all star QB.

Besides Burelson I have made it through the preseason and first week with no one getting hurt. I have Addai in one keeper but his little headache honestly shouldnt even be a concern.

Now if Alge Crumpler can catch a pass, things may get better haha.
