Bengals QB Carson Palmer to be evaluated Wed.

Chick Ludwig, of the Dayton Daily News, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (elbow) wanted to play in Week 4, but the team's doctors, trainers and head coach Marvin Lewis all said no. Lewis said the team will evaluate Palmer Wednesday, Oct. 1, to see where he is at.

Palmer (elbow) was hurt in the first quarter of the team's Week 3 game when New York Giants CB Corey Webster sacked him.

There is alot of talk that Marvin will leave after this year. Like it or not, he won't get fired. That just won't happen with Brown. However, he really undercut Marvin on the Chris Henry issue...so there is alot of feeling that Marvin will ask to leave. Saves face by not being fired...or the team continuing to implode.

Marvin Lewis showed why he has his job still today in his press conference. He was an absolute genius.

He said that the team needed to move the ball down the field and score more points.

I was wondering what the big plan was to get productivity out of these elite offensive players, now I know, LOL

It's just like John Madden says - if you don't get first downs its really hard to win in this league.

Miller, come on.

Brown is loyal to a fault. Unless the Bengals go 0-16, he won't do it.

Again though, I do see Lewis leaving at end of year...but it won't be a firing, mutual agreement.
