Week 5 Westy Watch

Last week we had a RB Brian Westbrook watch. The watch ended in a negative fashion. Westy didn't practice all week and during warmups at last weeks game he could only run straight ahead and his knee offered no lateral support or movement. This week sounds a little better as he has been limitied in practice. He will probably still be a dreaded Game Time Decision but he could end up on the playing side of that coin this week.

Can't run the risk of the zero.

if he plays this week, would he be able to put up good numbers? i know the offense runs through him and with the Redskins having a good pass defense, I'm thinking that he will.

I agree, but a zero can be devastating, especially when your 1-3 and close to calling it a season already.

Yeah who would have thought you could be 1-3 with Westbrook at your anchor? *sigh* Dammit! In my case..I have both Westy and FWP. And Andre Johnson hasn't been lighting it up either...in light of Schaub's amazing performance.

Looks good for Westbrook owners.

ESPN - Westbrook runs full practice for Eagles, appears likely vs. Skins - NFL

They said on the Fox show this morning that he was 100%. Hard to tell with an ankle though
