| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Tennessee Titans @ Baltimore Ravens In Week 10 of 2006, Ravens QB Steve McNair threw three touchdown passes against his former team, including the go-ahead score with 3:35 left to give Baltimore a 27-26 road victory over Tennessee. The 4-0 Titans are undefeated and rolling into The Raven Haven this week for what is likely a clash of top Defenses. Ravens running back Willis McGahee, who was injured in last week’s contest against the Steelers, was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable on the injury report. Obviously, QB Flacco likes possession type WR Mason best Titans QB Vince Young, recovering from a knee injury, fully participated in practice Thursday and Friday for the first time since kickoff weekend and is listed as probable on the injury report. Nice to have him back and available as a backup. WR Justin Gage is listed as doubtful and not expected to play after missing Fridays practice. McCareins may see more action as a result. QB Chris Simms was released meaning Vince Young is healthy and the backup. Injury report: Ravens Out
Injury report: Titans Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Kansas City Chiefs @ Carolina Panthers The Panthers defeated the host Chiefs, 28-17, in 2004. This is a mirror image game record wise as the 1-3 Chiefs roll into Panther Country to face the 3-1 Panthers. Panthers LT Jordan Gross, who had started every game since 2003, suffered a concussion last week and will be on the sideline Sunday against the Chiefs. QB Huard gets another start as Croye probably won't be ready to challenge until after the Bye week for the Chiefs. Injury report: Chiefs Out
Injury report: Panthers Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions In Week 8 of last season, Brian Griese threw four interceptions as the Lions beat the Bears, 16-7, in Chicago. These two teams seem to be going in different directions as the hometown Lions are 0-3 and the Bears are playing pretty good ball at 2-2. One has to wonder if the Lions will change their gameplan where they give up 17+ points before starting to play. John Kitna will have his full arsenal of weapons at his disposal when the Lions face the Bears this weekend. After being held out of practice Thursday, WR Roy Williams (knee) was a full participant in Detroit’s Friday practice and is listed as probable on the team’s injury report. The Bears, on the other hand, may be short-handed when it comes to defending the Lions’ passing game. Cornerbacks Charles Tillman (shoulder) and Nathan Vasher (wrist) were limited in practice and are listed as questionable on the Bears’ injury report. DT Tommie Harris will miss this week’s game due to a team-suspension. Injury report: Lions Doubtful
Injury report: Bears Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers Making his first NFL start, Samkon Gado ran for 103 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Packers past the Falcons, 33-25, in 2005. The Packers have won three of the past four meetings to take a 12-10 lead in the series. These two teams look in the mirror and see each other. Both of these teams are 2-2 going into this matchup and both are looking to take a step froward. It's a banged up Packers at home vs a Falcon team that has been playing some solid ball. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers stayed on the sidelines on Thursday and was limited in practice on Friday. He suffered a right shoulder injury last week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Falcons. The Packers will rehab Rodgers on Saturday and how the QB feels then will help determine if he’ll play. However, coach Mike McCarthy said the team will work Rodgers out before the game on Sunday and he’ll be a game-time decision. If Rodgers is unable to go, rookie Matt Flynn will get his first career start. “I’m preparing to go either way,” McCarthy said. Morty says Rodgers is a go after warming up. Injury report: Packers Out
Injury report: Falcons Doubtful

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans In Week 16 of last season, Peyton Manning threw three touchdowns -- two to tight end Dallas Clark -- in a 38-15 blowout of the Texans at the RCA Dome. The Colts have won 11 of 12 overall meetings with the Texans. The 1-3 Colts are banged up and sputtering as they come to visit the 0-3 Texans. Have the Colts healed enough during their bye week and rediscovered their timing? The Texans have been playing better than 0-3 would suggest. The Texans have just come off an exciting game where they took the Jags to OT before losing. Vegas seems confused this week as the Colts are only a slim favorite and yet the Panthers were double digit favorites at one point this week. After limited participation Wednesday and Thursday, Houston offensive tackles Eric Winston and Ephraim Salaam fully participated in Friday’s practice and are both listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Colts. RB Slaton owners have been worried about RB Chris Taylor cutting in on Slatons action, Taylor is OUT. Injury report: Colts Out
Injury report: Texans Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | San Diego Chargers @ Miami Dolphins In 2005, current Chargers wideout Chris Chambers caught eight passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns to help Miami knock off the Chargers, 23-21, in San Diego. The Dolphins have beaten the Chargers six straight times, and lead the overall series, 11-10. Huh? The 2-2 Chargers roll in to play the 1-2 Miami Dolphins. This is a game to confound the experts. Many consider the Chargers to be better than their record. Yet, after pounding the Pats in their last outing the Dolphins may also be better than their record also. Both teams are relatively healthy which for the Chargers this year is something new. Chargers linebacker Jyles Tucker was nursing an injured hamstring all week and is doubtful for Sunday’s contest. Tight end Antonio Gates, working with an injured hip, participated in practice on Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable. Injury report: Chargers Doubtful
Injury report: Dolphins

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants Matt Hasselbeck tied a career-high with five touchdown passes as the Seahawks handed the visiting Giants a 42-30 loss in 2006. The past two meetings have gone the way of Seattle, helping the Seahawks cut the Giants' overall series lead to 7-5. The 1-2 Seahawks roll into Giantland for a tough matchup with the 3-0 Giants. Seattle sounds like they will have Branch and Engram back at WR. But has there been enough time to synch in with Hassleback? The Giants have been playing well and Burress should be the difference ..........Whoop! .......Whoop! Uh, Oh! Relief is finally coming to a banged up Seahawks receiving corps. After Missing Seattle’s first three games, wide receivers Deion Branch and Bobby Engram are listed as probable on the team’s injury report Friday and are expected to play agianst the Giants Sunday.Branch will get the start, while Engram will play in his usual slot position. Giants Kickers Tynes and Carney have been out, in, out ,in, out, in, out, in status changing every day rangiing from being dropped to game Time Decisions. Stay Away. Updating a previous item, Scott M. Johnson, of The Everett Herald, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Deion Branch (knee) will start the team's Week 5 game, according to head coach Mike Holmgren. However, Holmgren added Branch will likely see limited snaps. "He says he's feeling good," Holmgren said. "It's just, once the game starts, how many snaps he plays. We'll have to see how that goes." Sounds like caution may needed if you thought Branch was full speed. most of us are always cautious when it comes to Branch but I figured I would add this. Sounds like he has the movement but is no where near game shape. Injury report: Seahawks Questionable
Injury report: Giants Probable

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles The Eagles scored 20 fourth-quarter points to beat the Redskins, 33-25, in Week 10 of 2007. Brian Westbrook scored two touchdowns in the final 4 minutes to cap the win. The Eagles have won three of the last four meetings, but the Redskins lead the all-time series, 75-65-5. The Redskins also won the last game played in Philadelphia. The 3-1 Redskins come off big win over the Cowboys in the Division. The 2-2 Eagles have been playing great but come off a stinging loss to Da Bears. While the Titans and The Ravens battle this week this matchup between the Redskins and Eagles may very well be The Clash of Titans this week. After sitting out Week 4 with an ankle injury, Eagles RB Brian Westbrook could miss a second straight game. Although Westbrook participated fully in practice for the first time this week on Friday, the Eagles list him as questionable for the Sunday’s matchup with the Redskins. Most sources expect him to be active and dressed for the game. But he may just end up as emergency back and not play much. This is the pain and joy of being a Westy owner. This will pass and he will produce well again and you will fall in love again. But he will probably do this again around week 11 and 12. Morty says Westy is active. Injury report: Eagles Doubtful
Injury report: Redskins Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Denver Broncos The Broncos defeated the host Buccaneers, 16-13, in a 2004 defensive battle. The teams have split their only two meetings since 1999, and the Broncos lead the all-time series, 4-2. This is a battle of two 3-1 teams and it should prove interesting. It has the outward appearance of a blowout. Yet, if the Bucs cover two D can slow down the Broncos passing attack this one may be played closer to the vest. Shanny may even run the ball more? Selvin Young in the flex? The Buccaneers will be without Joey Galloway for a third straight game. Tampa will face Denver without the veteran receiver because of a foot injury. The Broncos placed WR Clifford Russell (neck) on injured reserve this week and many of his teammates won’t be 100 percent in Week 5 against the Buccaneers. Injury report: Buccaneers Out
Questionable
Injury report: Broncos Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Buffalo Bills @ Arizona Cardinals Willis McGahee rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns as the host Bills defeated the Cardinals, 38-14, in 2004. The game was played in 30 mph winds and rain. The Bills have won four consecutive games against the Cardinals, dating to 1986, and lead the all-time series, 5-3. The 4-0 Buffalo Bills fly into the desert to face the Cardinals who are hovering at 2-2. The Cards have been displaying impressive offense performances but also some incredible gaffs. The Bills have been solid on both sides of the ball. The improved Cards D leaked like a sieve last week. The up and down Cards have to be the type of team that the Bills secretly fear. Starting CB Terrence McGee, who injured his knee in Buffalo’s Week 4 victory over the Rams, missed three practices this week and is listed as doubtful for the Bills’ matchup with the Cardinals Injury report: Bills Out
Injury report: Cardinals Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Cincinnati Bengals @ Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals' defense forced five turnovers to help Cincinnati drop the visiting Cowboys, 26-3, in Week 9 of the 2004 season. These two foes have not met very often throughout their franchise histories. The Cowboys own a 5-4 overall lead, despite having lost two of the past three matchups. It just doesn't sound like any fun for the 0-4 Bengals this week. They get to fly down for an away game with the formerly undefeated, freshly beaten up at home, pissed off Cowboys. I can't think of anything else to say right now. After being limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, Bengals QB Carson Palmer fully participated on Friday and was listed as questionable for Cincinnati’s game against Dallas. Some sources are saying Palmer is going to play some say no. The Cincinnati Bengals have terminated the contract of RB Kenny Watson. Now that is really Out! Makes Cedric Benson the backup. Injury report: Bengals Out
Injury report: Cowboys Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | New England Patriots @ San Francisco 49ers Tom Brady threw for two touchdowns and Corey Dillon rushed for 116 yards and a TD as the host Patriots defeated the 49ers, 21-7, in the 2004 season finale. The Patriots have won both games played since 1998, but the 49ers lead the all-time series, 7-3. The 2-1 Pats are coming off a very timely bye week for them. They seemed solid but took a stunner on the chin just before the bye week. The Pats look to rebound but have a long road trip to play the surprising 2-2 Niners. The Niners have been a slowly improving D over time and Martz and JTO has put some spark into the O. Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was limited in practice on Thursday with a groin injury but did not show up on New England’s injury report Friday. Injury report Patriots: Doubtful
Injury report: 49ers Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Pittsburgh Steelers @ Jacksonville Jaguars In last year's AFC wild-card game, the Jaguars recorded six sacks on Ben Roethlisberger, who threw three interceptions in Pittsburgh's 31-29 home loss. The Jaguars have won the last three regular-season meetings with the Steelers, and lead the overall series, 11-8. The 3-1 Steelers take an tough short week trip to the Jaguars pick this week. The 2-2 Jags just came off a OT win at home last week vs The Texans who gave them a real game. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report Friday after being limited in practice with a shoulder ailment. Roethlisberger missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he expected Roethlisberger to play against the Jaguars on Sunday night. Friday Ben was limited in practice but it sounds like he may go. If he doesn't Byron Leftwich gets a shot at a revenge game vs his old team The Jaguars RBs are healthy again. Not so with the Steelers. Fast Willie Parker is out. Mendy called out the Ravens and they broke him. Davenport was re-signed and we could see a mixture of him and Moore The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Willie Parker could play this week, but that the coaches are being cautious and want him to rest until after their Week 6 bye. Be very careful if this is true. He may end up active and dressed out as an emergency back, Like McGahee was early in the season when he didn't get a carry. Injury report: Steelers Out
Injury report: Jaguars Out

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Forum Leader | Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints Daunte Culpepper threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns to help the Vikings beat the saints 33-16 in 2005. The Vikings have won six of the past seven meetings to extend their overall series lead to 17-7 The 1-3 Vikings head to the Superdome to battle the 2-2 Saints. Both teams are considered by most as slight underachievers at this point. Both the Vikings and Saints head into their Monday night matchup with injury problems. Minnesota LB E.J. Henderson is doubtful with a foot injury, while WR Bernard Berrian is questionable with a knee ailment. New Orleans will be without rookie DT Sedrick Ellis for two to four weeks after he had knee surgery. This injury may enhance the Vikes rushing attack. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that linebacker E.J. Henderson could be out for a whole month due to two dislocated toes that have severely swollen up. While he hasn't been changed to Out yet it sounds like he is closer to being with a surgeon than a starting lineup. Those of you who drafted the Vikings D might start watching the Ds being dropped on the WW after the bye weeks. Injury report: Vikings Out
Injury report: Saints Out
