Matt Leinart: Finished in Arizona?

Since may of us will be having an upcoming inaugural dynasty draft....

Arizona is a land of offensive riches. Breaston. Boldin. Fitzgerald. Hightower.

All QB'd by a guy on the near side of 40. Heir Apparent to the throne Matt Leinart thus far has proven to be a lazy failure more interested in drinking and whores than playing football.

What are your thoughts on the future for Matt Leinart?

I think Matt is a gonner.

He had his shot, and could not knock out a future senior citizen.

He will be cut, or maybe a throw in for a trade...and he has to hope he matures and learns from his mistakes and falls into an offense that can use his noodle arm.

He aint done. Warner retires after this season and Leinart takes over next year.

Don't think I would draft him though. Not until I see him play well for a season.

Only way that arm does anything is in a West Coast style offense.

He got paid and is getting laid. An extra long shot to care too much about getting sacked on Sundays.

I'm not saying it's the right call or that it will work, just how I see it happening.

What is wrong with drinking and whores???

Now as far as Leinart's future, I agree with Var. The Cards will give him one more shot/. Not saying he deserves it, but he'll get it next season. I think Arizona will also draft another young QB, or bring is a vet just in case. But Matt will go into the year as the guy. Sink or swim time for him. I wouln't bet on him swimming, he hasn't yet, but he'll get the shot.
