Frank Gore

Does anyone think Frank Gore is going to do anything this season? I picked him up because Kevan Barlow is doing so bad that I figure San Fran will eventually start Gore. I also need a RB to cover my bye in weeks 9 and 10.

Anyway, I have the option to pick up Travis Henry and drop Frank Gore. Would any of you think that this would be worth it considering my bye weeks later in the season?

Hard decision to make. Do I think Gore will do anything? Yes, I think he will take over Barlow's spot at some point this season. Barlow is a guy that the 9ers have been trying to replace for a while now.
Is Henry going to be more valuable this year? that is a question that I cant answer. I dont think Chris Brown is ready to throw in the towel just yet, and what has Henry done to make anyone think he can be the guy on an fragile offense?

Too early to make a safe decision there, but on gut instinct, I might be inclined to hand onto Gore.

Thanks for the advise. I should stop second guessing myself like I did last week with Derrick Mason and Andre Johnson. I originally was going to start Mason, but at the last second I started Johnson. Big mistake. Although I still won the game on the last play to Julius Jones of the Cowboy game on Monday night.

Anyway, I picked up Gore for a purpose. I am expecting him to be starting in week 9 and 10. I guess I will stick to my guns. I have two very good starters and one solid backup. Gore will stay in reserve on my roster until he is starting for the 49ers.
