I really dont see the point of doing this deal. Im in a 3 way tie for first(the team offering it is one of those teams too). But I thought Id throw it at u anyhow.

He offers: PManning, PBurress

He wants: CDillion, TJones

I know I have great depth at RB, but considering who Im dealing with, & the fact i dont really need Peyton I dunno.

Ofcourse my WR pos sucks royally. Maybe u could help me with a counter?

My Team(Its set for this week):

QB: TGreen,
WR: BJones
WR: LColes
RB: SDavis
RB: CBrown
W/T: AChatman
W/R: TJones
Bench: JDelhomme, KCurtis, WMcGahee, CDillon, JJOnes, ASmith

His Team:
QB: PManning, CPalmer
WR: PBurress, SSmith, AJohnson, MHarrison, DDriver
RB: RJohnson, LJordon, TDuckett, JBettis
TE: ACrumpler

This deal really only benefits him as hes stacked at WR & needs RB(s)

Thoughts?

Damn, considering he probably starts Harrison and S.Smith on a regulare basis, and will have Andre Johnson ( who will perform in the latter half of the season), he really doesnt need P. Burress, but would benefit greatly from those Runningbacks provided they can stay healthy and play.

I for one think Thomas Jones begins to lose time to Cedric Benson in the very near future. (I am talking in the next couple weeks).

See if you can take C. Dillon out of the deal and replace him with McGahee. Manning is strarting to get back in his groove of throwing the ball into the endzone and I believe that trend will increase in the latter half of the season. You will get a nice boost at QB, and a solid receiver in Burress.
