Still getting my rankings for this week together and wondered who you thought was the better of these two.

I have to start one of them this week.

Sean Salisbury on ESPN says that Barber will have a huge game.

But, then again he is not always right.

Ewww battle of the back ups. I personally like Barber better. Parcells loves him even if quietly. I could almost hazard a guess that Parcells wishes Jones wasnt there so he wouldnt have that choice to make. Barber is alittle rough but I think hes going to have hell of a career and I hope its in Dallas.
Ps Dallas fan or not that was an unbiased opinion about those two RB's.

I've got to go with Barber. He looked good last week. Bell had a bad week last week so Anderson will probably get the bulk of the carries.

Actually, as bad as Bell did last week (and right at 4 yards per carry isnt bad), Anderson clearly did worse, and hasn't been running effectively the last 3 weeks now. Past 3 games he has less than 90 yards combined. Bell will most likely be getting the majority of the carries this weekend, and if he has a solid game, which is a definite possibility against Buffalo, that trend should continue all the rest of the year. The consensus is he's a much better RB so its pretty confusing why he wasnt given most of the carries a long time ago. His yards per carry speaks for itself.

I'd go for Bell over Barber...

I have a little trouble agreeing with that from the perspective I have seen the games. Many are looking at the yards per carry, and the larger runs that Barber is getting. What they aren't realizing though is that this is generally happening on 1st and 20, or 3rd and long when Barber has been coming in on passing downs and ends up running draw plays up the middle. The defense is soft at that point and he has 8 yards before he gets touched. Defense are simply not respecting the passing game in Dallas because they know the chances of Parcells opening the offense up on a weekly basis is very slim.

I fear going with Barber because all it takes for him to spend the entire game on the bench would be Julius Jones getting on the field with the confidence he had last season combined with the Dallas offense actually mixing in some 1st and 2nd down throws like they did against the Chiefs.

I believe I will be going with Bell. Thanks for the replies everyone.
