Zepp brought this to my attention, and I just read up on it at ESPN

This could create a very hectic offseason for Dallas if it turns out to be true. Would Payton take over as head coach? Would Jerry Jones bring in someone else?

One thing for sure, Dallas is currently headed in a good direction and decisions regarding the future coach would need to be made very quickly to prevent a coaching change from holding up continued progress of this teams development.

I am kind of one the fence with this at the moment. On one hand, I like what Parcells has done with the team overall, but on the other hand I see many occasions where his stubborness of "sticking with old players" has not been a good thing.

This would make for an interesting summer in Dallas, wouldn't it? Who would replace him? Would they go for an experienced coach or give someone a chance to prove himself?
