Mathias Kiwanuka
Defensive End - Boston College - Senior
  • Height - 6'7"
  • Weight - 261
A standout Defensive End at Boston College, it is not yet known if he will play Defensive End or Outside Lineback at the NFL Level. No matter what position he ends up at, he should do well.

I have Mathias Kiwanuka going in the top 10 of the 2006 NFL Draft currently, and have him being drafted by the Tennessee Titans. The Titans will have plenty cap room in 2006, they need to rebuild the team, and the first priority should be defense.

Who else do you think is targeting this guy? How high do you think he will go in the draft?

49ers might want him. 6-7 might be about the right spot for him and the 9ers can use help everywhere.

49ers definately need help everywhere, and defense has to be a high priority. I think the 49ers are 2 years from being a contender though, so it all boils down to them taking the best player available.

The Lions do need that, but they may need an offensive line more than that.

Looks like his stock is falling. One thing after another, now some scouts are not sure about him.

I hope he falls all the way to #22, to Denver.

I doubt the 49's would take him as a defensiver end. They seem intent on playing the 3/4 defense and he's a little small for a three man line. The 49's are fairly deep at linebacker, so I could see them going for a cornerback or a safety. The only linebacker I could see them drafting is A J Hawk. Don't be surprised to see them take a offensive lineman.
