Laurence Maroney

Running Back - Minnesota
  • College - Minnesota
  • Height - 5'11"
  • Weight - 205
  • 40 time - 4.50
Maroney is curently the #2 running back in my rankings. He has really seen his stock rise over the past couple months and is expected to make an immediate impact in the NFL.

Where do you see this guy getting drafted, and how well will he do in the NFL?

Laurence Maroney is one tough back. He seldom goes down from initial contact. He is strong, fast and not a bad pass receiver. He can block as well.
Should go early in the draft to a team that needs a RB (Vikes, could you trade up and take him please?).

He's only a 'decent' blocker IMO

Ahhhh......another product of the system.

Last season, he and Marion Barber frequently were in games at the same time. They both blocked well when the other had the ball.
Again I will say to the Vikes, "Could you please trade up and take this guy?"
