  • Demetrius Williams
  • Position - Wide Receiver
  • College - Oregon
  • Height/Weight - 6'2"/188
  • 40 time - 4.52
  • Senior
Demetrius Williams is regarded as a top 5 wide receiver in this year's NFL Draft Class. Williams battled injuries early, but came on as a serious threat every time he touched the ball. As a senior, Demetrius williams caught 34 passes for 829 yards and 15 touchdowns. That's almost a touchdown every other time he touched the ball. In addition, he had one more score, returning a punt for a touchdown.

Hard for me to place where the guy will go in this years draft. I considered Seattle, but I feel they will steer clear of him due to previous injury history.

I've watched Demetrius play for years now (I live in Eugene). He had trouble with a turf-toe two years ago, still played, although it cut in to his effectiveness. His injuries have been little nagging things.

He's thin but he's actually very tough. He's willing to go over the middle and take a hit. He's a great deep threat -- and if I had a dollar for every time Kellen Clemens missed him when he was open on a deep pattern I could be opening up a Dairy Queen franchise now instead of reading draft analyses on the internet.

Good hands; he almost never drops a pass. Can run the end around effectively. Quick on the short-pattern and can beat coverage deep. I think he's very close to Hagen at ASU in terms of NFL potential.

I think Williams success at the NFL level will be as a posession guy, and he will definately have to bulk up.

He is a projected round 1-2 pick. Why would he go undrafted?

Definitely a round two pick. He has been written up in the Senior Bowl reports as a receiver who is impressing scouts. He's one of the top 6 receivers.

I think Round 3 is a good place for him. This year's receiving corps is lackluster at best, and there aren't any blue chip receivers. Unlike the past couple years where you have as many as 8 guys that could go in the first or early 2nd rounds, this year you have maybe 1.
