That's just the Seahawks being babies. Next year, they are going to be wearing skirts on the field.

I for one have never been a big fan of full time NFL officials...but I am now. After this season, and especially all the blown calls for this years playoffs...it is time to do it.

Yesterday's game was the topper.

It was NOT pass interference on Jackson in the first half.
Ben STILL has NOT crossed the goal line on the first half TD they gave him.
And to me ...one of the worst calls...is HOW IN THE FRIGGEN ALL THAT IS HOLY HELL DO YOU CALL BLOCKING BELOW THE KNEES ON HASSELBECK...DURING A FRIGGEN TACKLE!!

Now, before anyone says I am a Pittsburgh hater...or that Seattle should have won....No, that is not what I am saying.

Fact is Seattle gave this game away. They still had opportunities to win..and didn't.

Still, I can't stand a game to be marred by lousy officiating.

Oh, notice I didn't even mention the bogus holding calls against Seattle...oh...well I guess I just did.

Nor did the Seahawks blame the officials. The quote I heard from Hasselback was we lost the game, and Pittsburgh played to win. So it isn't whining...just crappy officiating.

1. DJax PI, questionable/bad call
2. the "phantom" holding call
3. the offsides defender on the phantom holding play
4. the SAME EXACT DEFENDER offsides on the next play (the sack)
5. Roeth's TD
6. the fumble/catch ruled incomplete
7. the Hass chop block (that was a tackle)
8. the non-calls on the Pitt line that were called on the SEA line
9. the non-calls on Roeth for low tackles/blocks that were called on Hass (and Roeth was actually blocking one of the time, not tackling

EVERY questionable call went against the Seahawks

The refs SUCK! Pretty much summs it up, they have ruined the entire playoffs.

Seriously, WTF were you watching?? Ben goes flying into the air, gets smacked right at the goalline, the tip of his elbow crossed the tip of the line, then gets pushed right back, now unless Roeth found a new way to infuse the ball into his elbow, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that the ball touched the goalline. It is just not possible, and how people argue this is beyond me. Also, the fact that the ref had to run in to see the ball in order to make the call, and did not make it immediatly makes me 100% positive the ref did not see it break the plain, he simply did not know, yet he still felt compelled to guess and call it a TD??? Give me a break, terriable call, but not even close to the worse call of the game, there were plenty of them, I don't need to even choose this one.

Like I said last night, I didnt see the replays, just the play as it happened and I thought he had gotten in. The TV view wad from behind the line though.

As for the ref, he should have made a call one way or another "immediately". This whole "waiting 10 seconds and then making a decision" is pure BS.

First of all it was NOT a TD.

My friend has DVR..we replayed the play 10 times...and on ONE replay, it clearly shows his arm reaching the line, but then the defender hits the arm with his helmet, forcing him back and grounding the ball and arm into the ground. The BALL never got to the line.

The OTHER key...is I would like all to see the replay. The linesman on that side of the play, who called it...ran halfway from the sideline to the area of the play with ONE arm up...marking the spot for the next play...then suddenly...he puts his hands up for a TD. In other words...he came after the play was dead, saw Roethlesburger over the line(which he dove after his elbow and ball hit ground) and THEN called TD. So by definition...he should have been down at the one inch line. PERIOD.

sorry dude - thats bullshit - i saw all of those calls - it was on tv - you shoulda watched maybe? - and those holds were definitely holds - you say youre not a crybaby but again, i was watching the game - the pushoff was blatent - maybe not a hard push but it was there, and it helped jackson catch the ball and get away from the defender... roethlisberger clearly (but barely) broke the plane while he was in the air... and many of those holds were guys choking the shit out of defensive lineman - ok, the hasselbeck call was kinda bullshit, but im sure there were many calls that went against the steelers that were also bullshit

You may be able to capitalize....shame you can't work the quote function. Oh, and you are blatently wrong...again. He with is arm may have touched...but the BALL did not. As I was saying...it was NOT a touchdown.
