Hey guys, Today I go over the reality of trading John Abraham, this guy is 1st round value, and more valuable than most of the big names out there. I also include a list of one player from each NFL team that he is more valuable than.

MMMmmmm....spam. Why is that spam is considered a delicacy in Hawaii and they serve it with everything?? I've never heard any felons spouting off on the deliciousness of the spam they get in prison. Hawaii must age it or something...like a fine wine.

Jetstv.com will actually be participating in some cross promotion with us this month. Looking forward to hearing what he has to say about our mock draft on Monday.

While I will agree that Abraham is a good talent, it's his heart that worries me. When he failed to play the last few games of 2004 because he didn't want to get hurt going into his FA year, that really put a bad feeling in my mouth and I dont think I will ever consider him a top player again.

I agree, the talent is there, but there are too many question marks for me to offer up 1st round talent for him.

Just to let you know, this guy will be doing a draft related video on Monday and will be plugging this site.

We may end up seeing an increased amount of Jets fans next week so everybody speak very slowly and don't use any big words.

Hey some of my friends are Jets fans, cut that out. Even if they don't admit it to strangers.

He has a video now that claims that the Jets have traded Abraham to Denver for the 29th pick of the 1st round, although I cant find confirmation anywhere. I know Denver was definitely interested in him, but I am not sure I would give a 1st round pick for him.

Denver would be the only team I could see doing it, as they had 2 of those 1st round picks to work with.

Anybody have confirmation on this?

I think the Denver sports community is posturing.

Browns | Interested in Abraham? - fkkl

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports the Cleveland Browns could possibly be interested in trading for New York Jets DE John Abraham.
I don't see the Browns having what it takes to get Abraham. They won't give up their first round pick to get him, that's for sure (I hope). I think it's the same deal as LB Peterson, they just are going to cost too much money for the Browns to put down, IMO. And why is this being reported from the Denver paper?

good news is I was dumb enough to stumble in here and smart enough never to leave...I may have that backwards.
Just to stay on topic, Abraham could fetch a mid to low first round pick, most likely a first day pick. Perceived to have citizenship issues so i dunno how much value is lost there. I think I just repeated what Mike said...all that champagne from celebrating another Super Bowl victory probably clouding my judgement.

I don't think alcohol poisoning is what's wrong with the steeler's fans these days.....a nice case of lead poisoning comes to mind. Drink it up while you can, next year's a whole new game. And the next year. And then a nice long work stopage to think it all over...

Hey Mike, I'm a Jets fan! And contrary to the opinion of GBG, I'm not stupid. Then again, I AM totally embarresed by their performance and even considered disowning them...
