| who me? Admin | Well, the decision has been pushed back a week, is that taken as a sign of him leaning more toward or away from retirement? Personally, I think he needs to walk away now. |

| Outlaw | He's not half-committed. - NEVER has been, NEVER will be - He's comtemplating retirement for the sake of the team. If the situation arises that he is needed, he will stay. If it is deemed appropriate that another QB could fill his role, he will retire. It's 30% about him and 70% about the team. |

for the record, I can see why coming back is for the team and not for Bret. I think that is why he has held off retiring. Still, I think taking the hit, and going to Rodgers now...is best for the long run. Since I don't see Bret going past this year.

What would you do at his stage in a carrer. He is arguably on of the top five quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. He can phyiscally play for another five years if he really wanted to. Shit, look at the begining of last year, he was in the best shape of his carrer, yet his team wasn't. Sounds like 100% commitment to the team, doesn't it? He came back last year after TT destroyed this team through FA, and the hiring of MM over Jim Bates doesn't do anything to help. Favre has EVERY right in the world to wait to see what the Packers do in FA..

| Im a Dallas fan honest!!! | I personnally think that Favre has something to offer GB. If GB was collecting young talent for an attempt to rebuild, I would probably be of the opinion that he needs to step down but they arent. They resigned A. Green and its going to be business as usual. Let him play, they will compete this year but they arent heading for the Super bowl. |
