June 1st Cuts

Every year, it seems there's some big names that are cut on June 1st. But this year, I don't see a lot of names being thrown around. I think part of it has to do with GMs dropping everyone early in fear of no CBA extension.

I hear a lot of fans of teams like the Pats and Packers keep mentioning the June 1st cuts as where their teams are gonna make the most noise. I'm not seeing it.

Is there any list compiled of possible June 1st casualties? Thanks.

I havent seen any shovel, but I will put out some feelers today and see if I can find anything.

From Dallas, I would expect Greg Ellis to be cut.

If the Bengals are going to cut Thorton, that will be when it happens.

Nothing at all really. I think you hit the nail on the head with your first post. Owners/GM's made moves very quickly out of fear it seemed.

There has to be a surprise or 2 yet to come. Anybody got a gut feeling a who might get it June 1? Who do you think should get let go?

I still cant think of anyone, nor have I heard of anyone other than Greg Ellis in Dallas. I expect him to be released because he has basically said he is ready to move on.

Simon Rice (huge cap hit if they cut him)
