This is the reason why he didnt perform very well. But, why did he hide it? Maybe he just didnt know.

Yeah he says that he only found out this past Thursday. Still think it could be a ply for him to "fall" to a certain team.

I know alot of folks have him dropping out of round 1 now. But I still bet either Carolina or Pittsburgh takes a flyer on this guy in round 1 if he is there.

I will combine this with the old Lendale White thread, but since this guy seems to be in the middle of tons of "potential bust" controversy, I figure this will be a good week to discuss the guy. He will be making his tour to some NFL teams this week, one of them being Dallas.

Post what you hear, lets see what the teams are thinking about him, rather than what some of these reporters who are always "out for the story" are publishing.

It, reportedly, was The Panthers at 27 who "suggested" that White not run.
Could Coach Fox be as sly as a fox?

Do you think the whole partially torn hammy is a ruse also?

No, I think he is hurt. I think Carolina or others figured that out...and told him not to run and damage it worse. I would be absolutely shocked if this guy fell out of the first round. He will get drafted by Carolina or Pittsburgh...watch.

Heck, I don't expect him to get past Denver at 22 unless they package them (15 and 22) and move up.

Do you think Parcells would want to consider him at 18? We got running backs, and good ones, but I know Parcells would like to have a guy his size running between the tackles.

If Parcells takes an RB in the 1st round, I would be amazed. Especially one that will probably get a slow start to the season as he waits for his hammy to heal.

I would be a little surprised as well, but not totally shocked.

Good question. However thier need at S and secondary help and what looks to fall to them leads me to believe otherwise. Who knows....earlier in the year I would have bet my full vbet limit he would never agree to take on Owens though.

Dallas has more needs than RB. I personally would be shocked if they took him at 18. They already have 2 very young backs. S and secondary are primary needs, especially a 1st rounder.

White will be a fun guy to watch on draft day. He could go anywhere from Philly at 14 to Pitt at 32 or even farther maybe. I agree that I don't see him making it past Car & Pit at the end of the round...if he makes it that far. If it was indeed Carolina that suggested he not run, they are genoius!

They need a free safety first and foremost. Problem is, I dont see one worth taking when it gets to them in the first round. I thought they would go after offensive line, but they have worked on that quite a bit during the offseason.

With Dallas, all you can do is assume what they might do. Parcells keeps it extremely quiet.
