When do you see the 1st IDP being drafted this year in your leagues rookie draft? Last year, I took Fason at 1.11, then Matt Jones at 2.11, took my
1st IDP in the 3rd round, it was Derrick Johnson, this year, I think we could see some IDP's being drafted in the late 1st round, early 2nd round, your thoughts?

Wouldnt shock me at all to see someone snag Hawk late in the first or by mid 2nd.

Mike, I agree, but my research has me thinking Greenway might turn out to be a better fantasy LB, your thoughts

Its so hard to compare these guys right now, mostly due to whereever they end and the system they use will have as much impact in their success as they themselves will have.

Agreed, gotta see where they go before getting an idea of who will be better in the NFL.

That said, I still see many Yanking up Hawk very early on name recognition alone.

I see Hawk going early in alot of drafts....(I took him at 1.11 in one of mine).
Not so much that Hawk is a stud, but also because the offesive pool is weak this year.
Other than the 5 RB's, 2 WR's, 2 QB's, and a TE...there wasn't much worthy of a 1st rd pick.
So between Hawk, Cutler, S.Moss, M.Drew etc. I went with the LB and the instant production.

I think you'll see D players going much earlier this year because of the harsh dropoff at WR. Last year, there were as many as five WRs going in the first 12 picks. This year, I think you'll see 1-2 max. This year, the strength of the draft was LB, and I think guys like Hawk and Simms, and possibly even Williams in a dynasty, having a shot at the Top 10.

Defense is definitely going earlier and in more numbers in this years drafts that I am currently in. Gotta love the trend.

In one of my Zealot leagues, Sims went prior to Hawk, and A.J. fell lovingly into my hands at the 1.12 spot. Got to love that. I think with the overall focal point of this years' NFL draft on defensive players it will filter over into Fantasy drafts. JIMO

People are thinking that Sims starts immediately on the weak side and that Hawk will start on the strong side, while this may be how it starts, Hawk will eventually move to the weak side and become a powerhouse in this league.
