- Even in the midst of 2 and 4 win seasons, Riverfront was averaging close to 50K a game

- We don't flee our home state in a mass exodus and then pass it off as "We travel well"

- We bathe

Like Philly ignores Pittsburgh, to us Steeler fans there is only one team in Ohio to get worked up about...Cleveland. Until y'all learn how to brawl in the stands without crying for yer mommies there is no comparision. Oh yeah, the Steelers have been sold out for 30 years. We're steel hard and y'all are soy soft.

The day never really gets started off here right unless there is a Pittsburgh/Cincy reference somewhere.

If I were a Steeler fan I wouldn't be losing too much sleep over the Bengals right now for next season. Carson Palmer isn't coming back anytime soon and the Steelers are still pretty formidable.

If the draft was a ballgame, we beat you 35-7. How that translates into the real deal later, is anyone's guess. Truth be told, I'm really not afraid of anyone on the Steeler's schedule. I figure we go 5-1 in the division. At worst 4-2. Depends on whether or not we take a week or 2 off in route to a 12-4 or better season.

How do you figure??? You added Holmes, and we added a corner who can shut him down. What else did you add?? Seriously?? We added more depth and youth to a team loaded with it. SOlid B effort by the Bengals in a draft where the Squeelers did none better.

While the Steelers didn't exactly have a stellar draft neither did the Bengals. I'd probably give both teams a B considering the circumstances.

Chad Johnson is out there running his mouth again about how the Bengals will not only win the AFC North but be "dominant". While I love CJ as a receiver and think that (all things considered) he is probably the best WR in the NFL - come on. Johnson doesnt even know who is going to be throwing him the football come gameday. How does that translate into certainty?

Bengals are going to have a solid team, but a rough and inconsistent year because of their inability to get Palmer back to full strength. If he miraculously comes back early on and plays up to his potential then sure it'll be a close call. I'm not so sure it will happen.

John Kitna a detroit lion? Just wait - that has the potential to be the biggest mistake of the year for Cincy given the circumstances.

if Palmer ain't ready in September, y'all are toast. If he's not back at full strength that offensive line of the Bengal's is gonna get him killed. Teams will be teeing off on him. Especially teams within the division. They will come after him early and often. If I'm him and it's iffy about being ready I'm sittin' on my wallet till I see if those guys can block or not. Palmer has 10, 12, 15 or more years to do this. No sense rushing it.

We didn't really need to add anything. Holmes is a bonus. I think he's really going to have to fight for playing time this year. The defense is solid and the pick up of Ryan Clark from the Redskins will fill Hope's spot with ease.
Willie and the Duce, Big Ben and that kid we got in the 7th for goal-line smashes, heck were probably better than last year and y'all know how that turned out.

Do you even watch the games?? Our offensive line will get him killed??? Do you realize that line is one of the top 5 lines in the league??? They are the #1 reason for the offensive turn around, it all starts up front! You talking shit about the Oline makes me really wonder how football smart you truely are. Please tell me your not that foolish.

I agree if Palmer is not back by the week after the bye we are going to have an uphill battle, but that is why they play the games.

That wasn't the statement you made, you said your draft was superior to ours by a 35-7 margin, whatever that means!! Quit back peddeling now. Tell me how those chumps had any better of a draft then us?? In real;ity, both drafts were depth drafts for the future. Both teams are very good with few holes, making the draft easy, sit back and take the best player on the board and toss them on the bench for a rainy day.

I know the Bengals draft doesn't look flashy, but it didn't need too, it was solid, I'd say B- or so. Steelers, proibally the same. I do like Holmes, but the Buckeye is officiall dead to me now

Just a little addition here, since you went and bashed on the unsung hereo's of last year, what team gave up the 2nd fewest sacks in the league last year??? That's right, the Bengals!!! Only 1 more then the league leader, Indy!! That line is a wall, and will keep him upright, remember, when he got hurt, the ball was long gone when he got hit!!

So go ahead, try again, cause the ol' his line will get him killed card, just got trumped!

why is it then that every where I read sees that line as a weakness? Hell, bout got him killed last year. Y'all were 11th in the league in rushing and it was a testament to the OC's play calling and Palmer's quick reads. His per attempt avg is below the league median which means he dumped off a lot. If y'all are resting your laurels on the Steeler Bengal second game, better take another look at it. Other than the score y'all got beat up pretty good. Pittsburgh turned the ball over 4 times. You guys didn't have a drive longer than 50 yards other the one in the first quarter and 43 of those were the scoring pass to tie it up. In the crunch the Steelers play at a level above the Bengals. You guys are commin', no doubt about it. But you ain't there yet. And the second round guy you got to help your line has a problem with edge rushers. Not the problem you want to have with a gimpy QB. The rest of the line is adequate but disgruntled. Another bad situation for a less than 100% signal caller. The point is unless Palmer is 100% it could very well be a long season for the Bengals.

2nd in the league in Sacks against!! 2nd!!! Willie Anderson - Pro Bowl, Levi Jones - 1st Alternate, Eric Steinbeck - 2nd alternate. The only weakness to this line is the fact that all 3 are UFA after NEXt year, fortunatley for me and the argument, that doesn't have anything to do with this discussion. They it about got him killed line it funny as hell!!! He was sacked 21 times!! 1.3 times a game!! The squeelers gave up 32, 2 per game! And you want to call our a weakness??? And that is with an offense that had more rushing attempts then anyone, imagine how many you guys would have given up if he had to actually pass the ball!

I will make a challenge to ya, if everywhere you read has our OL as a weakness, find me one, just one and provide a link!!! Just one! If you have one, it may be the dumbest sportswriter in the world.

Worst pick: Second-round pick Andrew Whitworth is a huge man, but there is some concern as to whether he can handle speed rushers on the next level.

Cincinnati Bengals

Here's another team that has issues as tight end. Reggie Kelly is the starter, but he is more blocker than receiver. There isn't much behind him in terms of pass-catchers.

ok ok i'm still lookin' for the links. I read and write tens of thousands of words a day. While I'm doing that see if you can do something about them ugly ass cheerleaders, the Bunglesluts.
