GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - New Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy won't have his top two running backs for his first minicamp as Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport continue to recover from last season's injuries.

Offensive tackle Chad Clifton, who is recovering from offseason knee and ankle surgeries, also is expected to miss camp

Not starting the year healthy has to have some of us concerned. Do both of these guys bounce back this year? Green has been pretty durable through the years only missing a game or two here and there. Davenport has had serious problems staying healthy every year.

I do like Green to have a bounce back year. never been to high on Davenport, as he just cannot stay on the field.

Man am I ever glad that the Eagles play the Packers this year.

Packers are a mess every year before the season even gets off and running it seems. Even if they were all healthy and re-signed (bye bye mr. walker) they wouldn't be that good. Oh well, maybe after another generous draft selection they'll be able to rebuild in the post-Favre era.
