Tue, 16 May 2006 19:26:24 -0700Jimmy Smith, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports an MRI of New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush's (hamstring) injured left hamstring revealed the problem to be nothing more than a mild strain, according to Bush's marketing agent Mike Ornstein. "He's feeling great," Ornstein said Tuesday afternoon, May 16. "Probably in another week, he'll be 100 percent."

Ok, so I wonder what the condition "really" is. I am only going to assume it is worse than what his marketing agent would say. The last thing that guy is going to do is be honest.

Seems not long ago, everyone was talking crap about LenDale White because he couldnt run at the combine with a hammy injury. I guess we all need to be calling Bush a bust as well now ... Oh Wait...

I will go with "Blair Thomas".

Maybe in 4-5 years the Panthers will pick up Reggie Bush to be DeAngelo Williams backup, LOL. I still get a big grin on my face when I think back to the year that the Cowboys picked up Blair Thomas to back up Emmit for a year.

I saw some similar opinions being expessed at a forum that shall remain nameless. Basicly saying that LenDale White was right to rest his hammy at the combine while Reggie may have torn himself a new one to perform well at said combine.

There sure would be a lot of wasted first round rookie picks if those two went into the crapper .

If it's just a strained hammy, I'm going to call this kid a pussy (sorry, ladies) for the rest of his career. He's a fucking rookie, what he needs to be doing is working his ass off out on the field proving he isn't a waste of the Saints' time and air. I knew a guy that developed stress fractures during his final march and high crawled the final mile and this kid was scrawny. If he could do it, Reggie can do some light practice with a fricking strained muscle.
