As per Nikki Lions Wr Charles Rogers is acitively being shopped around as trade bait. He is working out with the 3rd string Wr group currently with the team.

Thanks for the imput Nikki !
So which teams are interested in a former #1? Off the top of my head the Jets, Packers, Niners have real needs for a legit #2 wr.

Teams off the top of my head that could USE a wr:
chargers....someone other than McCardell
Eagles....are they that sure of Brown and co.?
49ers.....all they have really is Bryant and Davis at TE.
Bears....who really do they have other than Moose?
Packers...still looking for Walker replacement.

I think Rogers would do well in Packer's land under Favre. Despite all the issue with this guy I think he can still perform at a high level.

Question is, what kind of wacky demands will the Lions have for a trade? I think any of the teams Phicinfan mentioned would be interested, providing the price is right.

I am not sure how anyone thinks this kid can help anyone at this point. I know if I were a GM, a player that has been in the league for 3 years and has only played in 9 games and has about 35 catches for maybe 500 yards and 4 td's would not even be on my radar. I'm sorry but he will have to prove an awful lot before I would take a chance on him at this point.

That is why I say the price would have to be right. But you can Bet Millen is wanting something ridiculous for the guy.

A 7th rounder would be too much for me right now.

Outside of injuries, didn't he get in some substance abuse trouble?

I don't know. I think even they learned over the Harrington issue. Fact is Taz is correct. First you have an injury history with Rogers, and you also have the fact he is a one time or two time offender with the drug policy...it makes him even less marketable. I think you always ask for more at first...but after that you just be reasonable.
