| Outlaw | I'm trying to negotiate a trade Eli Manning for S. Jackson in a keeper league you guys have any thoughts on if that would be fair trade for both teams, or do you think one team will need to give up draft pick(s) to make it fair. |

| who me? Admin | If I owned Jackson, I would be having to get something in return more than Just Eli Manning. Very nice fantasy quarterback to have, but nowhere near the value of a #1 running back. |

| Deputy Premium Member Forum Leader | First, moved this into the fantasy advisor forum for you..this is the area for this type of question. Second, as for value it totally depends on need IMO. If you have RB depth, and need a QB, and the Eli owner has QB depth and needs a Rb..it think a deal can be worked pretty quickly. It also depends on scoring. Can you list the rosters..and scoring for the league. My gut tells me, if you have Jackson and want Eli...you may have to throw something extra in...then again, there are some very high on Jackson now..so straight up may be doable.

| Who Me? Admin | WOW, I'm on the other end here. If I owned Jackson, it would take more then Eli Manning for me to get rid of him. Mike hit it on the head. Eli is a very nice fantasy QB, but QB's value are simply not worth what RB's are IMO. Jackson is a young top 10 back, their costs are simply more then a good QB IMO.

| I Hate the Eagles | I agree with Phicinfan, not enough info to really tell one way or the other. Both should be long term producers at their position, but until we know needs and scoring, it is very hard to say IMO.

| Outlaw | QBs do get 6 for a TD and 0+ PaYds = 1 point for every 25 PaYds Plus a 2 point bonus @ 300+ PaYd Plus a 3 point bonus @ 400+ PaYd Plus a 5 point bonus @ 500+ PaYd and RBs 0+ RuYds = 1 point for every 10 RuYds Plus a 2 point bonus @ 100+ RuYd Plus a 3 point bonus @ 150+ RuYd Plus a 5 point bonus @ 200+ RuYd |

| Who Me? Admin | Why does he want Eli with Peyton already? But none the less, try it, if it doesn't work you can always try to throw something else in to get it done. Who are his other RB's? |

| Deputy Premium Member Forum Leader | First off, if you want Jackson and are dealing Eli...don't offer anything more. IF he is that high on him as a second QB...I think you can sell him on a straight up. If it were me...I would be asking him what he will give me with Jackson to get the future #2 QB in fantasy. |

If I get a top 2 QB(Eli is possibly there) and other Rbs..say dunn or Davis...I can still beat you. In most leagues I am in, I have won more with a stud QB then with stud rbs. In the past, depth at QB has been better than at rb. I don't feel that is the case any longer. With so many teams going to shared back fields, it is much easier to get some rb depth...but there are only so many very good QBs out there. It is all in how you want to run your team. In a dynasty league..to get a young stud QB I can count on for years...is more important to me..than a rb..cause I can get an rb almost every year in a draft. | |||
