| who me? Admin | THis is a running back I have been keeping my eye on for quite some time, who could really push to take carries away from an often injured Brian Westbrook. From Coach's rumor mill: http://www.sportsoutlaw.com/forum/61908-post67.html

| I Hate the Eagles | I like Moats. I think he could be the perfect complement to Westbrook. I am not sure if he would be a good every down back at this level though.

| Outlaw | Moats is a Westbrook clone in a lot of ways, but of course Westbrook's track record suggests he is much more talented as a receiving back and the more versatile runner. Moats showed solid potential as a rookie, and with better knowledge of Philly's complex offense could be a great reserve back. Perry has also shown potential but has yet to see some hard running in NFL games. The big question mark now is who will fill the role as the short-yardage back? If Philly doesnt acquire someone like a Stephen Davis they will have to rely on Tapeh, Gordon, or Buckhalter. We'll see what happens, but at 5'8" and 205 pounds both Westbrook and Moats are a little small for a critical 3rd and 2 down. |

| Outlaw | Believe it or not Buckhalter is in year 2 of his 2-year contract. While the chances that he'll make a recovery are (in my opinion) slim he is still working out well according to the team and will make a big effort to come back. Even though he will probably be watching the games at home you cannot discount the possibility that he'll make a miracle recovery, and in that case we wouldnt need a 3rd down back. Thomas Tapeh is a similar case - here is a guy that has worked his butt off day in and day out 24/7 in order to make a recovery and get back on the field. This FB could double as a short-yardage guy too, but another question mark. |

| Outlaw | He had a torn patellar tendon from the season before last. In 05/06 camp he ended up bruising the knee and even though Andy Reid insisted it wasnt related to the torn patellar tendon he has yet to play football since. He missed the entire 05/06 season. |
