Droughns and Lewis are really low on the PPR running backs. Why would I do something silly like read the rules? Those 4/5 round receivers are going to be way down the list.

Stephen Jackson outscoring Larry Johnson? That's like saying that Texas is going to win a National Championship with a freshman starting QB.

Who said anything silly like LJ getting outscored by Jackson????

Had to be Mike. Only one I know delirious enough to make that pronouncement.

love to get gates here. hes actually far and away who i wanted at 2.11, but i knew i wouldnt get moss if i waited. thought i might get both this way.

the last two seasons, gates has averaged 85 catches, 1050 yards, and 11.5 TDs. in a PPR league, that is almost as valuable as any WR still on the board as far as points, and its a huge drop from gates to a replacement TE later in the draft. even shockey, who i believe was the #2 TE last year, had 65 catches for 891 yards and 7 TDs last year. that means that with PPR, gates was worth an extra 63 points last year... over the next best player at his position. when you figure an average replacement TE will probably have 40 catches, 400 yards, and 5 TDs (just made that up obviously), gates outscores that avg TE by 150 points over the season. frankly, hes a first round value on my board in a PPR, even if he has a slight dropoff with rivers.

The surprise isn't so much that he's going early, cause he's not, but that I didn't realize that Rams even had a thousand yard rusher last year.

Thank you Miller. I had Wayne and Chambers 1 and 2 on my predraft. I could just feel that you were taking one of them, just wasnt sure which one.

Very glad you took Chambers, as I feel I am getting the #1 receiver in Indianapolis this year.

While that is all good, those were numbers put up by the "old" qb. While I still think he will be top tier TE, I need to see that Rivers can get him the ball as much as Brees did before I would pick him this early.

I would love to do a vbookie bet on that. Harrison will once again prove that he is the only #1 on that team.

he can slip by 20 catches, 150 yards, and 4 TDs, and hes still the #1 TE, and hes still worth unbelievably more than the TE replacement i can get later. i expect his TDs to dip to the 7-8 range, and his yards some, and his catches probably go up a little. young new QBs like to dump it off to the TE, and what better security blanket than mr gates. as long as gates doesnt collapse worse than that, he is still worth the pick to me. and if he meets last year's numbers or improves, hes a top 10 value on my board.

Well it was between 2 WR's for me, Wayne just was not one of them. Harrison is still Manning's #1 guy and main redzone target.

I like Chambers progression, a but inconsistent, but most WR's are. He is money in the red zone, I like that.
