WPXI.com - News - Steelers' Top Draft Pick Arrested In Ohio

Looks like Holmes is trying to match Henry arrest for Arrest (he's got 5 more months and only 2 more arrests to go, you can do it Holmes!)! He's been charged with Dom Violence and 2 counts of assult, way to go Holmes, what a freaking idiot!!! Not sure what is getting into him, I didn't hear anything like this while he was at OSU. Sure didn't see this coming. Steeler Nation isn't having a very good month!

I was rooting for the Fins to take Santonio, glad they didn't now.

Well thank goodness Roethlisberger and Holmes are getting in trouble for responsible things like motorcylce accidents without helmets and domestic violence. Other players are far less responsible, some even go so far as to smoke pot.

Phicinfan and me had this discussion pre-draft. There were "whispers" outta Columbus. He didn't believe either...

Not sure what wispers you are referring to or who you heard this stuff from, but in 3 yrs I can not recall hearing boo out of this guy and I'm a dies hard for the Bucks. Add to that, I deal on a daily basis with many Alums and president club members (booster club) from OSU in my job, and none of them have heard these whispers either........ Not saying your wrong, just wondering where your hearing this since I happen to have some sources pretty close sources that have not heard these same things.....

Regardless if he has issues before or not, he's obviously becoming a nuisance and is looking like a bust before he even steps on the field.

There were a few "incidents" the campus police and one occasion with the Columbus police. I have a source in City Hall and inside the athletic dept. The NFL has copies of the "incidents" and the Steelers had an investigator check them out. As I told phicinfan, your boy suffers from a case of posse comitatus. There are specific concerns related to his maturity and inability to handle the amount of money coming his way.

ohhhhh noooooo, here is where your DEAD wrong!!! He's no longer my boy.........he's now YOUR boy!!!! He's a Stiller now, no concern of mine, kinda funny to see you guys trade up for the a fock up, and now you claim they knew he was a fock up when they pulled the trigger . At least the Bengals only risk 3rd and 5th rounders on fock ups, not trade up in the first for them.

By the way tks for the info, just have yet to hear anyone collaborate them, but interesting non the less.

hmmmm, maybe documentation that these "alleged" indiscretions while he was at OSU. In today's media society, shit like that doesn't go un documented. Not saying it didn't happen, but it will remain a rumor in my mind until there is something more then your "sources" for me to look at. I have my "sources" as well, not hearing the same things you are I guess. What he did now says nothing about his past. These are his first 2 arrests to my knowledge. Funny what $$$ will do to a kid. But like I said, I don't care, we didn't draft him, he's Pittsburgh's problem....

Holmes is pleading not guilty, so it appears this arresst was just a misunderstanding.

Not going to get me in on that bet. The Law fears NFL players.
