"I feel good about Miami," said Beasley, who signed with the Dolphins in March. "I think the team is going in a good direction. They won their final six games last year. I don't think we'll back up. I think we'll pick up where they left off." Beasley was benched by the 49ers last season after he started seven of the first nine games. Various news reports cited a conflict between Beasley and the San Francisco coaching staff. Beasley did not discuss the situation when he was in town but said "it was time for a change." Beasley said he and RB Ronnie Brown have "hit it off." "I didn't realize Ronnie was such a fan of mine," Beasley said. Ashley Lelie is entering the last season of his contract and he wants out of Denver badly. Mike Shanahan has already replaced him with Javon Walker, but the Broncos seem unwilling to trade the disgruntled wideout unless they can get a first round pick or a top running back in return.
