| Outlaw | Working on a few trades, one deal involves me giving up Chad Jackson, as part of a trade, I'd get Reggie Brown. these are not the key players in this deal, but was wondering what you guys think about these 2 WR's. Who has the better longterm fantasy value? |

| Who Me? Admin | For some reason, I'm just not really sold on Brown. I don't think he has the skills to excel as the #1 WR he is trying to be portrayed as. I think #1 CB's will for the most part have their way with brown. Jackson on the other hand is a talented yet raw guy who lands on a passing team who likes to spead the ball around. However, NE's current #1 may be better suited for a #2 role so the opening is there for Jackson if he can prove he has the skills to be a #1. I think as far as high end potential, I give the nod to Jackson, he is an unknown, but kid has the raw skills if he can put it together. Brown on the other hand will struggle in the #1 role IMO and is much better as a #2 NFL WR.

| who me? Admin | Having a tough time with this one, but I am leaning toward Chad Jackson as I think he has more tools to work with long term. It's not that I am down on Reggie Brown that much, I just dont seem him as a long term #1. He did decent statistically down the stretch last year but it seemed more by default. It was his rookie year though and they had no intentions of him starting. |

| I Hate the Eagles | I dont even have a doubt. Jackson wins this hands down. He will beat out Branch very early this year. Mark my words. Dont give up Jackson.

| Outlaw | There was a heated discussion about Reggie Brown and Michael Clayton on another message board that had many people changing their minds about Mr. Brown. Personally, I would hold onto Chad Jackson...he will prove that he is the better wide receiver in the long run. He has better skills than Brown and a better quarterback throwing to him...I am going to the doctor today...I need to quit agreeing with Taz... ![]() |

| Deputy Premium Member Forum Leader | My concern with Brown is the Philly offense. Prior to Owens, they prided themselves on moving the ball around and using all. So no one reciever got more than a few receptions. My gut tells me Westbrook will be the focus, not Brown. NE is a team in transition. They don't have alot of depth at WR, and Branch is still threatening a hold out...which will only put him in the dog house. I could see Chad doing well in that offense, and clicking with Brady. I would lean toward keeping Chad...and not getting Brown.

| Outlaw | I would go with Reggie Brown here. Yes, the Eagles spread the ball around, but New England does too. I'd also say that Jackson's WR company will be more talented than Todd Pinkston and Jabar Gaffney. McNabb may have diverse targets, but he will find his most reliable and talented receiver in Brown. He may have to rely on Brown a great deal this year to win. Rookie WRs really dont have a lot of success in this league. When you consider that Brown is in his sophomore year and jackson is in his rookie year you realize that if any guy has the potential to make that leap in talent, its Brown. I think Reggie Brown is going to turn some heads this season. I think he is the complete package. He has size, he has speed, he has the hands, and he has a very strong work ethic. |

| who me? Admin | Reggie Brown was not drafted to be the #1 on the Eagles offense. He was drafted to eventually be the #2 beside Terrell Owens. I can't see the Eagles sticking with Brown as their #1 long term. |

| Outlaw | What does it matter if Brown isn't their #1 long term? (and who knows he might be, even if they add depth) The question is who is the better prospect for the 06-07 season - Jackson or Brown. To me, the answer is obvious. |
