Interesting. looks like the pats are preparing for life without Branch.

Is Jerry Porter getting over his temper tantrums? If not, this is not good for the Raiders.

Porter is speculated to start now, although Curry could have earned the spot during camp. I've yet to see a verdict.

Anyone see Gabriel having a huge impact in NE? I do. He had a few huge games with Oakland, and I'm not impressed with Caldwell and a slightly injured CJ.

so what does this mean for Branch's value? everyday a 10 week holdout seems more and more likely. And I've got him on my bench at the moment :(

Seahawks are increasing their interest in Branch, as mentioned in another thread. I will be surprised if he sits for 10 weeks. If that happens, the Patriots get nothing for him.

if the seahawks get him, he'll be a #3 WR or worse, right? his fantasy value should fall pretty hard.

Yeah, it can't be too good. I'd stay away from him even if he was traded, unless he lands with the Jets.

But even then he battles with Coles for balls. Although, they could go pass first and Pennington's got a solid arm. He's best off with NY fantasy value wise.

he's best off staying with the pats and being the #1 receiver and honoring the contract he signed. Maybe the pats forced him into a 5 year deal, but he probably got more money by going with 5 years instead of 4. And who knows if the offer from the Jets is even legit -- Mangini might just be screwing with the division rival pats. their offer was weird, and it had a weird structure to it, I read.

Branch is most likely the #2 in a very short time if he goes to Seattle.

Branch would fit nicely with chad . he is a short to medium route guy and would fit Chads noodle arm to a tee . Gaberial is not a up grade from Branch . Oakland better kiss and make up with Porter as he was and still is the second best WR out there and no Currier can't Carry his jock strap .

Lmao no disrespect but Im not sure i would ever tag stable arm and Pennington in the same sentence. Pennington is more valued for being head smart than any great gift he has for throwing the ball.

What no schools over there in Vermont ? I said noodle not stable arm . In fact if you check the stats he never has thrown many INT''s . He is best suited for the short to medium range throws .
