Johnny Unitas' record of 2796 completions in the first quarter of the game against the Texans. It gook Unitas 203 games to get the completions, Manning breaks it in game 130.

What a joke. Those are BALTIMORE Colts records not Indy's.

It's still the Colts franchise, how is it a joke?

He's one of those bitter Ravens fans that thinks the Indianapolis Colts usurped everything Baltimore Colts. In other words, he thinks the Ravens are the second coming of the Baltimore Colts.

Congratulations to Peyton on this feat.
This shows how the game has changed, however. Passing is much more important now than it was when Johnny U played in his high-tops. Scoring is up and the enphasis is on offense, as opposed to defense.
Again, congratulations to Peyton on this accomplishment. Johnny U was a very good QB that had some excellent players around him.

Why the hell was he still in the game throwing downfield after they were already trouncing the Texans? If he gets hurt, Indy is hosed. He got sacked by the Texans twice--once in the third and once in the fourth quarter.

I put my theory about this here:

AOL SPORTS: TEXANS

Quote:
Yesterday, Peyton Manning put exactly 400 passing yards up in the Colts' 43-24 buttocks rendering of the Texans. You might think that this is a result of the Colts being a better team, or that it is a result of the catastrophic and complete failure of the Texans defense.

No, that is just the conventional theory. A more in depth view reveals the sinister truth: Peyton Manning is Evil, and that he has a pact with Mephistopheles.
Read it and then decide. I think I make a great case for that, and my theory is as valid as any others.
